I would like to start of with saying this game is amazing and has stood the test of time. The definitive edition really brings this old gem to life with beautiful graphics. The developers have done an amazing job balancing the game and the multiplayer has been vastly improved. Overall they did a great job with this game and i 100% recommend it.

Amazing game thats held the test of time

Cry of Fear is one of the best free to play survival horror games i've come across. Not to mention its one of the only co-op horror games out there.

That being said it has a very immersive single player campaign garunteed to having you on edge questioning every small noise you hear. If you are planning to play this game co-op i'd advise you play with "serious" gamers, only because its hard to get immersed in the horrific atmosphere when you and your friends are running around making jokes and laughing as one of you starts teabagging every enemy you manage to take care of.

Cry of Fear has an intense atmosphere, amazing ambience, its stable and the gameplay is fluid.
It is very well optimised and will run very smoothly on older computers.

However despite saying the game is well optimised i did suffer a few FPS drops when playing co-op and being in the areas that are raining. Bearing in mind i played this on a 1.3ghz processor.

All in all its a very good game, definatly worth a download.
