Many reviews focusing too much on the price, inclusion in pass, It is a bad practice but I won't talk about it here.

Let's start with talking about good things... thing?

1. The Answer shows that persona protagonist doesn't need to be empty emotionless self insert without backstory.

I understand that content of dlc is exactly the same as it was in 2008, but I don't think some improvements shouldn't be done if original dlc was bad.

1. Do you remember the most hated thing from any Persona 3? Oh, right those monotonous 264 levels of tartarus, do you ever dreamed for 11 hours more of that? Here it is. SMTV fans rejoice.

2. In more than 3 hours I got maybe two story bits, that is with rushing through dungeon skipping almost every enemy.

3. I don't have problems with new character except with how much she says the word sister. "Say 'sister' again! I dare, ya! I double dare ya!"

The sad thing is, persona series had multiple types of additional content for a game that worked before Royal for p5, Golden for p4 or something smaller like Repaint Your Heart for p5 tactica. Those brought new characters, new gameplay features or made you want to replay whole game again. This one is almost boils down to bloody palace from dmc series, just combat gauntlet for somebody who liked combat, but even that doesn't work because all your characters are reset to level 1 and game becomes a boring grind without any combat decisions.

You are not missing out on anything if you liked p3 for it story, those 3-5 cutscenes are better experienced on youtube and not for 35$.

This is basically Starcraft 2 that we got at home, I was 14 years since release of starcraft 2 and what we got here feels like starcraft 1.5. Game is heavily inspired by starcraft 2 and warcraft 3 and in my opinion feels much more like the wc3.

Positives:
- Feels like wc3 to play, so some nostalgia is here.

- Coop (it is in a terrible state) but it is here, and coop was really fun in sc2 I glad developers also think so.

- One of the few games of rts genre that was released in almost 10 years.

- Art style is ok.


Negatives:
- It would stand no chance if it was realeased in the same year that sc2 released, Quality doesn't improved in 10 years. And budged here isn't a problem.

- Terrible design of coop / single player mission, people who created them had no idea what they are doing and just make it look like sc2/wc3 missions, they play terribly have no semblance of story progression or player choices.

- Feels bad to play because it lacks visual hints. Can we have a animation of main base being upgraded? Can every level of upgrade look slightly more different?

- Units feel uninspired, you got 2024 technologies, you could make units that blow up the terrain, unit which size is so big it covers part of the map whatever, no here we dont even have big units like thors or ultras, meh.

- Early access, why is it in early access for 60$ with payed commanders even though you got like no real content in the game, and the one you have for coop/single is worse that hobbyist maps from wc3? The only saving grace is pvp, but it definitely not enough content for 60$.

You load up a game - it full of bots, you try again, you get headshooted by a bot sniper.
Good game but Valve forgot about it and let it rot.

Just completed the game. Many negative reviews talk about inconsistent tone through game and some how bad characters.
I find character writing extremely good and shifts in tones are implemented in the story make it fill more close to life.
I highly recommend this game as a good mystery visual novel with great style and gameplay.

Great game, waiting for rebirth!

Pos:
- nice sequel, in the spirit of a first game
- writing is still good and funny
- great art
- some mystery in a story
- they tried to add some gameplay into vn
- added scares are fun
Cons:
- Less interactions with you "date", most of the time you actually doing gameplay part
- Added gameplay, it could be fun and refreshing, but gets boring pretty fast
- I have no idea what they use as game engine but it runs terrible and has plenty of the same bugs that first game had, even though most of ui / gameplay ripped straight from the first game.
- Controls doesnt work on steamdeck in game mode, in desktop mode at the time runs poorly close to 5 fps for no reason.
- (This maybe incorrect) I think it doesn't have enough content for this price, I am 2 / 3 of a game currently and that took me 2 - 3 hour at really slow pace (play time is longer cause game was in stand by), I would guess at normal speed all content can be beat in 2 hours or less. I would like at least 5-8 hours read time for that price.

Great game to experience. Not as technically or gameplay as P5R, but style and story worth a playthrough.

Great H-game, some animation are lackluster, though.
