Sad to see the negative reviews. Hinterland has done an excellent job with this and has been upfront the whole time about the timeline and adjustments. The DLC is great and worth the money.

Oh man its a kitty!

The mech customization is top notch but the game feels like ass to play.

I hate this game, I'm awful at it, and the story makes no sense.

This game's not for me, TA have developed a very excellent controlling and feeling DnD 5th Ed RPG. The unfortunate thing here is that the story is bland, and the characters uninteresting. I come to RPGs for story and worldbuilding and interesting characters, not for combat mechanics, and the story just isn't here. Mechanically its good, and if you want to build a dungeon or your own campaign in 5e I think you'd probably be happy. But this isn't what I came for.

I love this game, its so atmospheric and well designed. The painted landscapes are beautiful and every area feels so perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is wonderful, it perfectly combines to build a mixture of beauty, wonder, loneliness, desperation, and a sense of adventure. One of my favorite games, I keep finding myself coming back to play it again and again.

This is probably the best game to come out this year. Fun gameplay with great art, music, and characters.

Oh nooo, put this back in it aint done yet! that aside, don't pick this one up yet, give it a year or two in the oven and something good may come out of it. Theres a lot of neat ideas here but wow is it unfinished as all heck, even for an early access game. I would expect thing like not being able to walk through most walls, and the items not all floating a half foot off the ground. I'll come back in a year or so and see if things have changed.

Edit: I see a lot of comments, I understand this is early access and was expecting an unfinished game, I was not expecting the very first items I saw to be floating a half foot above the ground, I was not expecting to be able to walk through most walls I encountered. I am leaving a negative review because I can not recommend purchasing this product at this time, let it wait, come back in a year and I hope to see something really neat. Theres a lot of good plans here but even on reading their announcement I was suprised to see how unfinished it was.

Its got some rough edges on it, but its a fun RTS and its got a good singleplayer. The devs seem really responsive to the issues and I'm eager to watch it evolve.

Plus the art direction and Mech designs are frankly fantastic.
