I can indeed see, from a gameplay point of view, why it got heavily critiqued especially the story and short length of it. I still had a blast playing stealthily and It's absolutley a game worth playing if you can get it cheap.

they didnt have to make the story mode. kill me.

The narrative is straight and to the point albeit abstract. I was immersed the entire time playing it and It feels just like you are in a cyberpunk film. It's over just as you start to feel like it is outstaying its welcome but It left me kinda sad because there aren't too many of these gems or maybe I should say not enough. This is the last game ive played that scratched a certain techno-horror itch that Ive had since SOMA.

so glad I did not let the negative reviews steer me away from one of my favorite shooters of all time and possibly my favorite in general. I had a couple crashes but the game ran flawless on my 1080. The gunplay is some of the most satisfying out there and if shooters are your thing I would put this on your bucket list.

If you want an arcadey world war 2 shooter filled with hackers and short attention span look elsewere this is more of a hard core tactical world war 2 simulator than a shooter.

That was a joke, but to be honest I had some fun the beta for what it's worth. Am I gonna buy it full price for the multiplayer or full price at all? no. I'm getting Wolfenstein 2 instead for my pseudo WW2 experience. But I would not say it was the worst beta experience I have had. It ran pretty well on a gtx 1080 144hz. I did get some of the input lag that other people have been talking about once but I just messed with the refresh rate settings a little bit and it went away.

Bloody fantastic game! If you can get past the frame rate being inconsistent or you have an overkill rig I 100 percent recommend it. Atmosphere is top knotch and player agency feels very present at all times, it's an overall very satisfying experience. very good replay value as well.

I finally beat this game on goblin mode. One word I would use to describe it: FUNSTERATING
