Plays more like an isometric souls-like than a traditional arpg. If you're a souls like fan then this is for you. If you're a PoE 1 or Diablo 2 fan, then probably not.

One of, if not the worst, mob(puppet) spawning systems I've seen in a game. They need to rework their rework.

It's a very good game but the current server issues are extremely frustrating. It's borderline unplayable online. If offline is your thing I highly recommend it. If online is your preferred environment - this game is not it right now.

UPDATE: All the above issues were fixed. This is definitely worth your time. Review updated to recommended.

Story is terrible. Rain is incessant and obnoxious. Lazy design.

Inventory disappears, good luck connecting in multiplayer, many broken abilities, equipment mysteriously losing levels, broken stats.. the game is a dumpster fire and the dev's add gasoline with every bug "fix" patch.

Still in EA despite what they are trying to pass off as a release ready game.

Update Edit:
The game play loop is quite fun. The graphics are excellent. You are going to need some patience though. Online mode has numerous connectivity issues and they can't seem to figure out how to actually save a player's progression so if you like starting over or the movie Ground Hog Day then this is the perfect game for you.

Game was great until the overhaul with season 7. Since then, not so much and comments like this in discord from a developer...

Sometimes you hope the reviews are wrong.. Avoid this like the plague.

Constant FPS drop is terrible and renders the game unplayable.
