Between this game and the new Armored Core game around the corner, fighting robots are back on the menu, boys! I got a million games in my backlog, so I have no trouble waiting around for a deep, deep sale. But Phantom Brigade is worth full price. I hope the devs will continue to make great games, we need more like this one! It hits all the right notes—awesome gfx, awesome sound fx & an excellent soundtrack, and a decent story. Best of all the gameplay is FUN! BattleTech doesn't even come close. Play this game you won't regret it!

I haven't had this much fun playing a game in a long time. It even comes with a great old school manual!

You get to build ships kind of like a mix between KSP and Nimbatus, except your ships are flying Russian apartment buildings that run on diesel and are strapped with naval artillery and missile/rocket munitions. Picture a cinder block in the sky rolling coal and bristling with heavy weapons.

I thought I had a good design going, my ship had a lot of firepower so I could take out most targets before the enemy could touch me. Every once in a while a missile or salvo would sneak by my defenses and my ship would take a critical hit every time—I lost all power, all my fuel tanks were on fire, no weapons, no engines. I would be dead in the water from one hit every time. It kept happening so I knew something was wrong with my design. Sure enough, some moron put all the ammo compartments right next to the fuel tanks, completely exposed. One hit to the ammo magazine and that was all she wrote, the chain reaction took out all the power generators and fire extinguishers too.

Tight controls, great graphics and great sound FX. yes please!

Solid gfx, sound fx, music and gameplay. All around great game. I did not encounter any bugs or crashes.

Can get a little repetitive if you lose a lot of battles. There is a little bit of trial and error to be successful. If you are easily frustrated by having to restart a fight several times, this might not be the game for you. Once you get a hang of the mechanics, it isn't too hard to master the fights. Soon enough you will lvl up and get better gear, and your crew will be kicking ass.

This game is very difficult. That's why it's so good. Good gameplay doesn't always mean easy gameplay.

Well worth the wait. Pure buttery goodness. If you liked Warband you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
If you're on the fence, Bannerlord is a marked improvement on Warband. PVP is a hell of a lot of fun. Is it buggy in places? Sure, but Taleworlds is listening to the community & releasing frequent patches over 6 months later. Plus there is a very active modding community. Maybe someday they'll even add CO-OP, who knows?

Can't recommend at this point in time (Oct 2020). Loading screens tend to hang the system or crash the game. ALT+Tabbing may or may not bring it back from a system hang. Also experiencing semi-frequent system crashes when running the game. Unplayable in this state. Checked forums, updated drivers, &c.—nothing seems to solve the problem. Others have been reporting similar problems for years without a solution. EDIT: BTW My system is a beast, obscenely powerful, game is loaded on nvme SSD & so forth.

Other than that the game has few good things going for it. Great Gfx & decent gameplay. Okay sound design, okay voice acting, meh music. Terrible storyline—it's just word salad—too much lore without any meaningful tension or stakes. Character creation seems like an afterthought. Controls are clunky. Sorry boys, back to the drawing board on this one.

Risk of Rain 2 is worth full price. I could end the review there, but I'll add a few things: the devs have done an amazing job updating the roguelike gameplay of RoR1 into a totally different medium—a remarkable achievement in and of itself, but if we set that aside, RoR2 stands on it's own 2 feet as a solid bullet hell shootemup with tight controls, great gfx, and a scorching soundtrack. The soundtrack alone is worth $25. This is game design on a level all by itself IMO. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

EDIT: This game is my nominee for the Soundtrack of the Year in the 2020 Steam Awards.

This game is worth the $30 asking price. I really don't know what else to say about it. No amount of words from me will do Factorio justice so let me say simply—It's a city-builder puzzle game with an incredible amount of depth and a strong modding community and a worthy developer.

yes, multiplayer could use more players—but there are a bunch of cool game modes you can play with bots offline.
