INCREDIBLY good game. I hadn't heard of it, and only recently bought it. It's now in my top 5 games. Fantastic action, gun play, voice acting, suspense, even music. Beautiful world. The motorcycle is insanely fun to ride. The story is excellent. Buy it already!

I've been playing FPS games since the first Wolfenstein. This is the best FPS ever released. Become a god. Set it to hardest and get good.

Highly recommended for fans of Far Cry, or even Fallout.

Incredibly well optimized, starting day 1. I run Ultra at 4K with 2x 1080 ti's, and they barely break a sweat. Very smooth experience. Responsive input and controls. Feels fresh and modern and well done. Plays like Far Cry, but with some changes that almost make it reminesent of Fallout. Open world, limited guidance, all sorts of stuff to see. Very good game.

Don't know why this game is getting mixed reviews. I thought it was excellent. Gorgeous graphics, another fun/moving story to follow up the first installment, great gunplay as usual, reasonable length, etc.
Mind you, I've got a modern PC, so maybe that's why I didn't have technical trouble. But I loved everything about this game. The music wasn't quite as great as in the New Order, but it was still good. Voice acting was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ superb. Writing excellent. Great game. If you loved New Order, there's no way you won't love this.

This game is terrifying and amazing. Something about it reminds me of the thrill of playing Half-Life for the first time. It's an involved, detail oriented FPS with smooth gameplay and great graphics. It's got an engaging, head-twisting story. The atmosphere is thick and the scares are real. Crank up the difficulty and hope you make it.

Holy crap, this game is awesome. And scarey. I had no idea I'd be playing a game that turns terrifying, and I won't say much else about it. But the exploration, survival, and unfolding story is fantastic. I'm loving it. Give it an hour or so of gameplay to set the hook. I wasn't initially sure if I'd enjoy this or keep playing. So glad I did.

TL:DR - Game runs pretty well on my mid-level system. Provides an entertaining blend of exploration, survival, and crafting gameplay with a healthy dash of FPS- and space-combat. Plays a lot like GRAV with spaceships and universe exploration. Overall, seems like a new blend of pre-existing games and mechanics in a way that is satisfying and fun. I foresee putting a lot of hours into this game. Downsides include inconsistent performance (some FPS drop) and a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none" syndrome (other games do the space exploration, survival, crafting, and combat better individually).

Not having problems with crashing, freezing, or major FPS stutters. I am having some FPS drops and laggy moments though, to be sure. Running on an i7 4770K and GTX 770 4GB with 16GB DDR3 @ 1866. Graphics are pretty good, but a bit "hazy" feeling and there are jaggies that the AA doesn't seem to conquer to much as blur a bit. Sound is good, music is quality.

Space isn't as well done as in Elite: Dangerous. Spaceship manuevering is very simplified, no manual docking, very limited controls, can't crash into ground, etc. This is fine, as it minimizes the learning curve related to the spaceships, but ultimately doesn't feel as fluid or tuned as Elite. Spacestations and space features (planets, suns, asteroids, etc.) feel somewhat cheap and lack dimension as compared to the dynamic Elite landscape.

Planets feel pretty awesome on foot. I love the dynamic caves, complex plant and animal life, etc. I haven't felt like the procedurally generated life and terrain feel overly cheap or random. Most things feel fluid and natural. Already had a few cool experiences getting caught in freezing storms or toxic rain and scrambling for shelter.

Combat is fine, obviously not the meat of the game but pretty satisfying. Exploration seems pretty well tuned, although there's not quite as much diversity of animal life on any given planet. Planets feel like they are single biome. This may not be true, but I haven't discovered a diversity of biomes yet (other than bodies of water, flat areas, and mountains, but the colors, life, etc., don't change). Technology upgrades are pretty cool and start coming in really quickly. Hunting around for various parts on different vendors in pretty cool. Working towards center of universe/galaxy seems fun up to this point (still only 4 hours in).

Overall, giving it 3.5/5, with room to grow in performance, tuning, and presentation.

Fantastic DLC for an already great game. The Old Blood DLC is lengthy, well made, and a lot of fun. If you were a fan of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, this is basically an abbreviated remake of it. Nazis, zombies, zombie Nazis, great voice acting, phenomenal music, amazing guns, and fluid gameplay. Can't go wrong here folks. Somehow, the devs have made a knock-out follow up DLC that is funny, touching, and blood and guts fun. Get it.

Early Access Review
I'd love to be playing this game, telling you how awesome it is. The sad truth is that right now, I can't play at all. The multiplayer server list consistantly crashes my game, preventing me from playing multiplayer. The single player game is bugged out, leaving me with a level 0 character who has no starting tools, no head, and no way to play/interact w/ the environment.

I literally can't play single or multiplayer. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks.

I hope the devs help me get this worked out, as the game seems pretty cool for those people who don't have tech issues. I'll change this review if we can get the problems sorted, but for now, it was a big fat waste of $$$.

Zombie FarCry . . . which is a good thing! 8.5/10, read on for more detail.

This game plays in an incredibly similar way to FC3 (and FC4 I'm assuming, although I've yet to play). The graphics are of a similar nature, the handling is similar, the crafting and skills aquisition is similar, the open world environment is similar, the quest system is similar, etc. It really feels familiar if you've played FarCry.

That being said, it's obviously got unique elements, such as the parkour movement around the city and the general atmosphere.

A+ on graphics (which I run fully maxed out on my i7 4770k, GTX 770 4gb, 16gb rig). Controls are easy enough once you practice. Parkour elements pretty smoothly integrated and intuitive. Combat thus far feels pretty smooth and realistic, although precision hitting with a pipe is proving difficult. Sound is absolutely top notch (hearing things all around me, things sound hellish at night, very immersive).

Gameplay is tense and you definitely are presented with a nice balance of feeling like a badass, but also terrified out of your wits at times. Only complaint is sheer amount of cutscenes and times when you sit back and watch, rather than play. I'm OK with these, as I think they add cinematic drama to most games, but it does feel a bit over the top here.

No technical issues, install was a breeze, no crashes or bugs yet. So nice to play a AAA title after so many early access games in the last year or two.

Overall, great game that I'm looking forward to playing through, then again in co-op.
