One of the best management simulators even today. art style and music are very fitting. UI is a little bit dated but if you can get over that, it's lots of fun and lots of replay-ability.

civ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, doesn't matter, they're all excellent. a must have in your games collection

If you like arcadish style tactical shooter like Counter-Strike or Rainbow 6, then youll love this game. Qucik paced yet very tactical and balanced.
Originally based off of a source mod, this game and company have grown to become one of my favourites for FPS games.

Pros:
intense, tactical, balanced, for real gamers. meaty gunplay with lots of options for different styles of play.
Cons:
sometimes too much down time between rounds, game modes get a little bit repetitive (like in cs:go in my opinion).
can be frustrating for noobs.

Highly reccomend for those who like games like Civilisation.
AI is lacking abit of political sense though, so playing online is great fun (but takes alot of time like civ games)
