Love it!

I just wish some of the battles were larger in terms of map size and thus the scope of the battle.

Now that the game is so inundated with cheaters and modders, it has become a bit of a dance of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Early Access Review
I place a tentative 'Yes' for recommending this game so far. My opinion is the game has a long way to go until a full recommend is given.

Having a strong science and engineering background, what caught my interest immediately was the scientifically based system of building and engineering structures/ships for space travel. I have spent many hours intuitively trying to do so with concepts I have imagined but have hit walls that I don't think should be there.

The first structure I attempted to create was a space station. I started browsing the blocks to see what I could use and was awestruck to see a 'Gravity Generator.' Obviously such a thing violates the first law of thermodynamics and defies science. I took it with a grain of salt however and just decided not to use such a thing and rely soley on what made scientific sense. The structure I imagined would use Inertia to create gravity by way of a rotating station - simple and accurate. My project was quickly derailed by a lack of any inertia physics in the game. I could make a structure that could spin using a gyroscope but did not create the intended artificial gravity by intertia. I tried then to use a spherical gravity generator to simulate real world science but to my dismay the spin of the structure created instability for standing on the outer ring of the structure. I had to abandon my project and reluctantly began using the gravity generator.

It amazes me that this Gravity Generator occupies the same volume as a remote control device.

I then began trying to construct interstellar vessels with the concept of streamlining them for planetary atmospheric entry for landing and take off from surface ports... much like a concorde. To do this I needed landing wheels that could fold out like a normal jet. But alas, the wheels, rotors and blocks are structurally weak and shatter at the slightest impact. I spent many hours frustratingly trying to create these mechanized folding landing wheels with success however, but they only function aesthetically serving no real purpose.

There are missing critical pieces of window blocks for 1x2 sides. The ones that are available do not align properly and are chiral to what is needed to merge with 1x2 angle inverts.

The addition of planets is very nice but the planets look wierd. The atmosphere looks way to thick. Also there is no atmoshperic drag forces to generate lift for streamlined vessels.

Overall, I have enjoyed my time building stuff and I sincerely hope the developers continue more on a scientific approach to constructing space structures/vessels.
