Dave the Diver mixes a fun loop with a progressing story and seemingly endless add ons to the game play, however some of the additional mini game style activities feel shallow and uninteresting.

One of the better final fantasies in terms of story and characters. Battle system takes some getting used to with the gambit system but an overall well designed final fantasy game

Servers are now down, which apparently means all of the earnings used for single player like career are also down. Forever.

Stardew Valley at it's core is a simulation game in the same vein as games like Harvest Moon. You run a farm, you look to make profits, you interact with the town. Stardew Valley offers the player tremendous depth and variation in how they want to play the game. You can farm, you can forage, you can fish, you can dive the mines and kill the monsters with in it. An experience system allows for perks at certain levels to give even greater variation in how you want to play the game.

There is a lot offered by the game and it ultimately is up to the player how much they want to explore and take in. At a surface level it is simply a farming game, but like all great games, it becomes hard to put down due to its depth and charm.

Intuitive, cute, and fun. A great couch coop adventure for 2 or more people looking to take on space and rescue bunnies.

Fun music, great visual effects, tight controls, and enough wrinkles to keep it fairly fresh as you play throug. If you're looking for a challenging side scrolling platformer, this fits the bill. Feels a bit like a cross between Super Hexagon and Super Meatboy.

Way too short for the price. At a full playthrough time of roughly 2.5-3 hours and very little replayability it's barely worth getting even on sale. It's a shame because it is beautifully made and has a lot of potential, but it simply ends far too soon.

It's FF9, which is arguably my favorite Final Fantasy of the PSX era.

PROS: The game is largely unchanged and the the port is overall pretty good, the models are updated, the pre-rendered is updated for HD. Music is unchanged unlike ff7 and ff8 ports.

CONS: Backgrounds were not updated for HD which makes for some striking contrast. Some changes don't make a ton of sense. There is no ability to exit the game from the title menu, exiting to title and exiting the game are buried at the bottom of the config in the menu (should just be a new main menu item or from pause.) Some interfaces were changed to optimize for keyboard but take away controller only interface (notably naming characters requires a keyboard.) FMV framerates are pretty awful.

Overall. It's a must-play final fantasy and if you like classic final fantasies you should just get it. As this is my 3rd time purchasing, it's not an amazing port (there could be added extra features like a FMV theater or NG+) however as far as I've seen there's been minor upgrades and minimal bugs. If it's worth a purchase as a pure psx port (which I think it is) it's definitely worth a purchase with the revamped models and FMVs with almost no negative changes.

Not a traditional tomb raider game by any means, but instead is a reboot in the cinematic/stealth stylings of other popular games like uncharted/last of us/etc. Gameplay is solid, puzzles are fairly rudamentary, game is gorgeous, and characters are written well. It's pretty easy to fall into and compelling to finish.

It is unfortunately short and limited in replayability as tends to be the case for these types of games, but it is still worth picking up if you enjoy the AAA blockbusters that have been mostly console exclusives.

Literally just stupidly fun. Mechanically simple to learn but fairly high ceiling on skill and enough random bounces to keep games interesting.
