Played 30 minutes of it and I would give it a 4/10. I am sure lots of other people who rated this game poorly can fill in my reason why. I got it for 97 cents in a clearance bin and the code miraculously worked on Steam so I can't feel like i was robbed of my money to play it.

My video card is a Nvidia Geforce 560 ti and it will not let me select a resolution higher than 800x450. With the normal Skyrim I ran the settings on 1080p with no lag on Ultra settings. Furthermore, they disabled the ability to modify the video settings from within the game itself. So far I am not pleased with this release. I should not have to go and edit my init file to change the resolution as I do not want to risk damaging this 12 Gig game download. This is a poor initital release by Bethesda and I am happy I did not have to pay for it. All this being said has anyone been able to set this game to 1080p by using the options menu in the launcher or know a workaround to get 1080p to fit my tv? My vote is subject to changing if I can in fact get the game to run and try it out.

Maybe I hated this game because it is now 2016 and the game was released a few years ago. I know people will say that I can not make this comparison but I will. Dead Island is a hundred times better than this game. All you do in L4D2 is run away from zombie that spawn right infront of you. There is no story like I thought there would be. It is just one map after another of run away from the same enemies then get to a pile of weapons at the next waypoint and then move on until the next until you have to board a helicopter or a boat. Also, the weapons do not have a zoom function unless you are using a sniper rifle and it is only in the third person. I am refunding this game after playing less that 45 minutes of it.

I ended up finding this game more addicting than the Medieval Total War series. The graphics may be a little outdated but the gameplay kept me playing for hours. I give this game a 5/5 and hope they make a new one.

This game deserves 100/ 100. I waited until this game was on sale because I have been sceptical of numerous games that are hyped then turn out to be a flop on release. This game is up there with Deus Ex and Dishonoured. Normally in a game I skip past repetative cut scenes but every one in this game is worth watching. Definately a memorable game.

I got this game on sale "thank god." I played this game for 2 hours and didn't leave the arena where you learn the controls (or umm, don't learn the absoulte crappy and sloppy controls). Maybe this game is meant for the consol because for PC it is over rated garbage. The only thing it had going for it was that it looked descent graffically but the controls ruined it for me. Once I went to metacritic I realized I was not the only one dissing the controls but it was definately a game breaker for me. I would say the controls were worse than even Dark Souls which too was a game designed for consol. I should have known better when most games made for console put out for PC generally suck. Enough said.

This game is terrible. I do not know what the hype is all about. I got this on a steam sale for like $2.00 and it was a waste of money. My guess is that this game is strictly for multiplayer because the single player is garbage and you can't die in it. It feels like a cheap crappy version of Counter Strike (which is embarassing to even compare it to CS:GO) which has by far the best replay value of any game out there.

This game was highly addictive but I was never able to finish it. There was always a glitch that would crash the game just as you were about to dominate the the entire map. This glitch happened to me every single time I made it far into a campaign. I last played it two years ago and the problem was not fixed then. Shogun Total War 2 did not have this problem and my friends who played Napoleon Total War said it didn't crash either. So I would buy those games instead of this one. I am voting it as a no because I was never able to complete it because of crashing near the end of the game. The crash would actually occur on the same year every time I played. I just can't recall since it was so long ago.

While I did play this game from start to finish, I would not recrommend it when compared to much better games of the same genre. Had I bought this game when it first came out as opposed to a steam sale several years after it's release I would probably say this game is great. Starcraft is a much better game in comparison. I am mostly writing this review to say not to buy Warhammer 40,000 because it is like any other strategy game on the market. I think consumers would be happier buying Warhammer 40,000 (2) as the gameplay is less repetative and more exciting sicne your squad mates use cover and throw grenades to take over vital positions (kind of like Company of Heroes mixed with Starcraft). I would have been fine skipping on the first 3 Warhammer 40,000 games and just owning Retribution 2 with all of its expansions. I own all the Warhammer 40,000 Franchise games and that is my honest opinion.

This game is a terrible port from console to PC. It might have been good but two problems plague it. First, when you install the game no matter what you do the resolution will be garbage because it was never intended to be played on the PC. There is a fix for this, however, it was created by a person in no way associated with the development of the game. The fact the developers simply did not care about this issue or fix it themselves is unforgivable. The second major problem is they did not properly integrate mouse controls intot he game. Going through your inventory requires the keyboard arrow keys and you are not able to remap the controls on your mouse. So if you have a 3rd or 4th mousebutton you are out of luck. You can only use the left and right mouse button in addition to the scroller (BUT YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO REMAP THEM). This is another major fail because being able to block or sprint would be better on the mouse. The camera angles are also terrible. Since there is no mouse sensitivity option in game (because once again they did not care about PC users) you have to download something like set point to slow down the craziness of the camera. Another problem with the game is the lock on feature. You target an anemy and one slight movement of the mouse it locks onto another target that may be behind you causing you to be backstabbed the enemy you wanted to stay locked on. Whoever thought that it would be a great idea to have the lock on function jump back and forth between enemies (even ones on the other side of the map) is a moron as this makes the game impossible to play. Because this game was so poorly released on the PC and they did not fix the obvious problems with the game I would not even suggest that you buy it. My friend who suggested I get it had the game for console and loved it. But the PC version is not worth your time, and to be honest, I don't think I would enjoy this game even if I was playing it on XBOX or with a controller for the PC. Spend your money on Skyrim or Oblvion which not only have better graphics, they are way more entertaining than this redundant garbage, And to put the icing on the cake, Bethesda always fixes problems with their games.
