Game System:
The influence of D&D is evident from the initial dialogue to the game mechanics. Weapons utilize the same dice rolls as D&D, which, while derivative, doesn't detract from the game’s unique charm. The skills and stats are streamlined for simplicity, and several classes are direct counterparts to those in D&D, making character selection intuitive. After 13 hours of gameplay, I haven't delved much into the magic classes, but the core classes are engaging and effective without relying heavily on healing.

The audio experience is interesting and campy, adding to the game's quirky charm.

I bought the game during a work day at 10am, I had played it for 10 hours by midnight and worked a full work day. This game is absolutely awesome.

Amazing turn based tactical RPG rogue lite tower defense esque game. There are lots of interesting strategies, weapons, buildings, and there isn't really a best weapon from what I can see. They all work for one thing or another.

Buy it, you'll love it.

RE 4 the sequel

This game was clearly not made for or by people with Epilepsy. Gave me a seizure. No I'm not kidding.

Look at my hours played. That should be enough. This game has so much replayability it's actually insane.

Best game on steam. It deserves more credit.

I played the tutorial and it crashed mid tutorial. So, I'd say we should give this game time befor eplaying it. I'll revisit it in a month when it's more stable and update my review.

Outdated gameplay

It looks gorgeous, but ignores the super basics of interesting gameplay

1. This drove me up the wall, I can't attack upwards or downwards. I've got all these weapons but I can only attack using horizontal angles with my basic attack? You can equip a basic weapon, the gun and your special ability allows you to aim around at all angles to fire a bolt of magic, but with a gun you can only fire horizontally.
2. Weapon animations are the exact same for every attack you do. There aren't any combos, it doesn't feel like you are doing anything different than spamming the light attack in streetfighter 2.
3. Story is REALLY cliche. I'm a magical girl that was cursed by blah blah blah and my adopted brother who I trust is a bad guy, I don't believe it *Gasp*.
4. Graphics are hit or miss. For the most part, really good, but cut scenes are weird looking

Summation:
If this game was released 20 years ago, it would be amazing (minus graphics of course). Today, it ignores the last 20 years of gameplay decisions and evolution in favor of making head scratching combat design decisions.
