I paid about £12 for the whole kit and caboodle in a Humble Bundle - all export modules (apart from Flash) and even the developer upgrade. So that's roughly £600 worth of software and licences for £12. So am I duty bound to give it a good review? Well no, of course not. That's a fallacious argument. £12 is £12 and still a meaningful sum to somebody who is currently on a very low income like myself. However, after spending nearly 5 hours using this, for £12 I DEFINITELY would recommend it (it's no longer on the Humble Store but I've noticed deals and bundles to come around again, so keep checking).
So yes, there's my caveat, but only for the moment, as six months down the line, after using it a great deal more, I may well turn around and say it is worth purchasing regardless of price (and I shall amend this review in six months if it turns out to be the case!)

The sense of satisfaction I got after following the first tutorial - the simple Breakout clone named 'Choco Breakout' was immense. It was easy to understand the logical arguments and how to slect them. It was easy grasping the concept of 'frames' and how these can easily be moved around in the game. And then, once my breakout game was complete, with the opening screen, high score table and end game screen, I then had great fun going into all the options and altering the graphics, customising the buttons, recording my voice as a .wav file and having me say 'ouch' when the ball hit the brick, and so on, and so on.

So yes, I have enjoyed it so far. Whether it is robus and flexible enough for me to achieve my long term goal - of producing a polished game worth enough to be sold on Steam - remains a different matter.

Still, for now, I am definitely recommending it.

Just a quickie to say thank you for the free update to this Anniversary Edition! I have bought games on Steam before which have had similar types of updates and yet they were sold as seperate games with no acknowledgement given to those who had bought the original version.

You, however, have showed thoughtfulness, consideration and kindness.

I am, and always will be, your friend.

Fantastic fun! Just bumped up the number of tables I own by buying the latest Humble Bundle. I have 90% of the tables now and love all of them!

Oh and yes, I've read all the negative reviews about deleting high scores and the EULA and all that jazz - like, what's your beef guys? I hear your concerns but to me, it's no biggie and think the whole EULA thing smacks of a tennsy weensy little bit of paranoia.

The game is great. Runs absolutely smoothly on my setup, and if you want to complain about spending hundreds of hours racking up a high score, only for that high score to be removed, then I suggest you rack up a hundred hours doing something a little more worthwhile with your life.

Okay, I may only have played 40 minutes so far, but for some games that's all you need. I got to level 20 and...what a blast (excuse the pun!).
I have two words - Jeff Minter.
Am I right? Was Jeff involved with this game in some way, shape or form? It has the hallmarks of his style and is reminiscent of Llamatron and even his early Grid Runner on the Vic-20!
The game also has inspiration from Moon Cresta, Galaga and Phoenix too, as far as I can tell. It's brilliant! I bought it on sale but it's well worth the full asking price too.

Great fun!

Would love to review it but the first time I played it, it crashed during the intro battles, at the Stone Wachter creature (and I've no idea if Stone Wachter is some clever joke that I don't get or if it is actually a spelling mistake and should be Stone Watcher)

Started early in the morning in Brussels. Noticed seven birds in the sky.

Reached Calais a few hours later. Noticed seven birds in the sky. Curiously, they were flying in the EXACT same formation as the ones I spotted in Brussels.

By the mid afternoon I was in Swansea. I looked up and seven birds were in the sky, flying in the same formation as the ones I spotted in Brussels and Calais. I can only assume they were the same birds.

10/10 - would get stalked by birds again.

One suggestion and one question -

Suggestion - rename the game to 'Death Simulator'

Question - Is the Lady Sonia character named after the lovely mature porn star that graces the more discerning parts of the internet?

Loaded game, couldn't skip the intro so sat through it. Another intro started. Pressed Esc to try and skip it and the game quit and I was back to the desktop.

Would recommend 9/10

It's bright and colourful and would appeal to bright and colourful people.

However, my name is Marvin, I'm an android and feeling rather depressed.

Download GS Auto Clicker 3.1.2

Set 'clicks per millisecond' to 0

Start Clicker Heroes.

Hover mouse over monster.

Press F8 to start GS Auto Clicker.

Sit back, relax, make a coffee. Maybe ring a sex chat line or something. There's nothing else to do.
