I love it! Very relaxing, easy game to play. A lot cheaper than playing the real thing! The risk/reward ratio is nicely balanced, in terms of spending credits on playing a machine and the chances of turning in a profit or winning special items etc.

At time of writing it's just less than 10 GBP. I am pretty sure I didn't pay that much and grabbed it during a sale for 30% off, which I would recommend.

When reviewing these types of games people often begin with 'Here's another attempt at a Vampire Survivors type game'. However, this was actually my first game in this genre. I didn't own Vampire Survivors!

So Halls Of Torment is a 'horde survival' game, where the game-play revolves around the slow, ever-increasing and ever-changing hordes of monsters that slowly - or quickly - gravitate towards the character you control. And you have to kill them, where they drop coins/gems or the equivalent that you can spend on upgrades etc.

Halls Of Torment does this very well. Graphically, it's kind of rough and crude and they certainly aren't as polished as similar games of the genre, but they do the job and kind of fit the grungy hellish worlds that the game takes place in.

So I give this a confident thumbs up. It's normal price is definitely good value but if it's on sale, I would say a definite must-buy.

Well it's a jigsaw game that includes jigsaw pieces of jigsaw cats. Nice, simple, easy to play, worth the price. Happily passes five minutes while you're having a cuppa.

The game is clearly good but due to there being no settings menu option for adjusting resolution and thereby allowing me to see the full set of controls to enable me to actually start a game, then it's all a bit of a CAT-astrophe.

Well it's Suduko but with cats, hence the excruciatingly clever amalgamation of the two words, Suduko and Cats to make Catduko!

No, sorry, I mean Sudocats.

It's a fun time to while away a coffee break, a bargain price too. Recommended.

Great puzzle game. Starts off very easy but by level 18 I was already having problems solving the puzzles! Sometimes it works to just sit back, relax, and analyse the patterns, but at other times it's worth just randomly placing the cat pieces in positions and seeing if it works out!

Being a cat owner I did try and rope my cat in to help but she coquettishly declined.

Very Short Review :

It's fantastic. Buy it. 11/10

Short Review :

If you like management games and collectable card games, buy this. You won't regret it.

Long review :

The last time I was compelled to play a game for seven hours straight was back in the early 90s, the game being Colonization. It's been a while since a game has had that effect on me, that 'just one more go so I can achieve this to help me do that' kind of feeling. This game, TCG Card Shop Simulator, does just that.

I'd like to say that this is the first time I have ever bought an 'early access game' on the day it was released! I know that in itself is a gamble, but the amount of variety already included in the game is phenomenal. I enjoy the slow building of the XP to unlock new card packs, shop equipment and shop space. I enjoy shutting up shop at 9pm and then buying a few boxes of cards and then slowly opening the packs, hoping for rare cards to put on the card display the next day (I usually bump up the price by at least 20-30% compared to the going price). I love rearranging the shop, organising the displays, giving less shelf space to a previous card set when I am able to buy a new card set.

This game so far is amazing and I am already excited by its future, where I envisage both free and paid DLC offering new card sets!

The developers have me hooked already and I look forward to seeing how the game progresses.

10/10
