I haven not played much but I had to write a small review and will update it as I put more time into this. There are many things that this game has done in the right way so far that I have to give big props to of corse these are my opinion an will very on the person. The smoothness of the combat and the texture of the world/characters. As you start an gather materials to try and survive the world takes you in as you see buildings, animal life and the world draw you in. Yes this game is still in Early Access but to me they have gone above with this one that many survival games have been lacking. After adventuring out maybe figuring out a few recipies you may come across NPCs that give you guests. This alone drew me in, they had stepped out of the box of normal survival games an done something that could really change the way survival games are made.

As I say above I have have not put in much time but I think this was the best 17.99 (on sale) I have spent in a long time on a survival game. I would have gladly paid more for this game an I can not wait to see what the devs have planned. An to the devs, keep up the great work and please keep us all informed I do not want to see this game go down hill.

Pros of Early Access so far:

This game have blow my mind in the world of feudal japan/medieval games. There are so many thing about this game i like and only few things I wuld personally change. But there are even fewer things that are wrong with the game in my opinion. If you are looking for a game with fighting style from like chivalry, Gloria Victus, ect. Then this game might be just for you. The game is built just like World of Tanks, World of War Ships, ect ect as in the teir system. As you progress you are able to upgrade your troops that fight with you on the battle field. As you up grade your troops you are able to buy those items to use for yourself. My personal favorite is a spear and shield.
This is a TEAM based game if you are lone wolf kind of player you wont be able to get the full game in my opinion. There is nothing like working with team mates to out flank you enemy and to slaughter them and their men. There are also currently three diffrent game modes. There is Duel (no its 1v1 its more like team death match), Command Mode (This allows you to comand your troops and fight along side them on the battle field. Also my favorite game mode), and then as of right now Epic War (This is the PvE side).

Combat System: Great face to face combat and love the mounted combat.
Graphics: Great in my opinion for early access
Community: Great so far
Progression: Good a bit grindy but when you get to what you want it feels well worth it.
Good PvE side for early access
Troop command: Able to change formations, tell them when to charge/hold back
Weapon/Armor Selection: Quite a bit to choose from

Cons

Servers: A bit laggy could use with some more optimization but again its early access.
opponent: Some times you get matched up with people in a lot higher teir and its very hard to kill them or you may die very fast. But this is no big deal due to the fact with team work and with some strategy you can over come them.

I will update this if I find anything else I do enjoy or dis like as i support this game through its development.

I enjoy this game alot. Yes it has it down sides like trying to find people to group up with on random servers and some of the power problems are ok and i can bare with personaly. I do recommend this game for people the enjoy a good survial game and love to explore. For the following reasons.

Pros:
------
Amazing graphics - If you are able to pump the graphics up you will be amazed by the beauty of the world that they devs have set infront of you. (I do hope in the future that they will do VR with this)

Building complextion - There is many thing you can do and build with the great building options that the game has stock not to mention with the free DLC. But you can always find better or even improvments in the workshop.

Leveling/Advancing - The game allows you feel like you are acomplishing something through leveling and unlocking new items in the game. Advancing in the game is great from starting out making a stone spear to taming dinos an to unlocking new things to use in building your kingdom/lair.

Tribe System - Much like many games before it, it allows you as a player to create and manage you tribe (guild,clan,ect) the management screen has some interesting things that you are able to to do that I think sets it apart from alot of the other survivals.

The Dinos - The vast slection of dinos in the game lead to interesting and upsetting times. In the hours I have played ive been eatten god only knows how many times but I enjoy every min of it. But when you tame your first dino its a great feeling. As you tame and use your dinos you can level them up and spec points into diffrent things on the dino. I had a turttle that was as fast as a raptor before it died from a T-Rex.

Character Creation - The Character creation is decent in my opinion. You can change the size, skin tone an more depending on your liking. Me I like to make my guys as small as possible for some odd reason.



Cons:

Starting out - Starting out may be a little challenging to some people this really isnt a con for me beacuse i like a good ol challenge but I know alot of people have gotten use to being handed things in game in my opinion. I have seen the begining of the game drive people away.

Servers/Communities - This one is prolly one of my most annoying things I have found so far with the game. When entering a radom server they more then likely have modded the crap out of it and it takes FOREVER to download and or enter it. An before some people go "you just have crap internet"or "Get a better computer" that is not the case I have seen this with many people with much better of both then me.
Now for the community part the only problem I have and its the same with any game is the rude people that play it and have no respect for others. But I dont see it as a bad thing for the game so to say its more of the server owners. But things like that can mess a game up even if the game is a great one.

So far I guess ive only put 4 hours in but from what ive seen so far has been great! Exploring the sea and gathering resources is not just another grind. As you explore and gather resources there are caves, an things to eat you along the way. I havent had much time into the game but Ican see that the devs working on this are consistant from waht ive been reading on the boards and see by their patch notes. They are focused on making the game good. No there is no multiplayer yeah it kind of sucks because who wouldnt want to explore the ocean with their friend/friends but dont let that get you away from getting this game.

Pros:
------

* Vast area to explore. (Caves, dig up sand, ect)
* Build your own base. (there are many apsects of base building but so far a solid in this area)
* Vehicles. (Under water vehicles they do help)
* Crafting system. (The crafting system as of now is great i love it not to hard not to easy)
* Beautiful under water scenery.
* Updated offen.
* An more that i havent discovered im sure.

Cons:
------
* No co-op/multiplayer (I do hope they go forward with this in the future)
* More ways to fight off the predators.
* Will add more as I come across them.

I got this game on sale today an all it does is crash before it even laods I have made sure I have atleast the minimum requirements an I do. But I wasted 20$ for nothing this is a big let down from what have seen the game is good but some people can play it and some cant. If any one knows of a fix please let me know. But till its fixed I cant even play it so I cant give a good review or give it a recommendtion.

This game is a great game! This game makes you think as if you were actualy there! I would recommend this to any one that is into tactical military games.

Very easy and very fun to play, the kill shots are amazing. This game in my eyes is a must get.

Awesome game still going strong online. Its the last one of its kind where you the player can make maps and use them on servers.

The play style of this is amazing the creators this did a very amazing job on the details such as the building (an when the crubble under the constent fire) an the land scapes are also amazing.
