This is excellent for showcasing the telling of stories through VR. Being able to lean forward and look inside the boat, or use leaning back and forth as a means to zoom are experiences only VR can give you. The story is told almost purely visually as there is no real dialogue.

The graphics are amazing and watching someone new to VR experience the tale was interesting. Their reactions a series of questions ("Is this claymation?") and statements of wonder ("It's like you can reach out and touch them. This is amazing").

The setting gave unexpected comedy because the story takes place in a "cloud city". A city in the sky with no railings or barriers preventing anyone from approaching and indeed falling from the edge. Made all the more delightfully evil by the introduction of a blind character ("that guy is wandering off to his death").

The story also has a particularly dark conclusion that was far from expected.

At the time of writing this is/was free to download. There is no reason not to try it and take 20 minutes to enjoy the experience.

I have tried this a few times now. Loaded up fine, was pretty good played two players with Xbox one controllers. The control scheme is great the theme and art style are complimented by a cool soundtrack. but the game crashes on the regular. Sometimes after a minute, sometimes after a full level. One thing you know for sure though is it will crash and when it does it is a bad freeze your PC crash, refuse to close the programme through task-manager crash. Reboot your PC and punish you for thinking you can play the game you paid for type of crash. The crash is confined to this one game, so I know it isn't my PC.

It is a shame but in it's current state (20/02/2018) it is unplayable without the threat of being booted.

0/10 wouldn't be forced to restart PC again.

I consider myself an excellent judge of this kind of game, I was around to play both Outrun and Road blaster when first released in the arcade. This game is nothing like either, it fails to deliver on being a good racer or a good car combat game. The graphics are serviceable at best. You basically control an oblong brick with wheels, the cars are pretty ugly machines.

The weapons feel weak and give no satisfaction when used. However, once used it is fairly easy to get in 1st place. The rest of your laps should be filled with the fear of those behind blasting you off the road and stealing position. They are not. They are boring drives that are as sexy and exciting as a tramp's wet sock.

The developers were kind enough to give me a free key. I wanted to say something nice about the game. The best I can come up with is "The idea is good". I wanted to like this game. I guess you don't always get what you want in life.

This is a smartphone port and it shows. What passes for a good game on a phone where mostly children play on their parents tablet won't cut it when compared to other games of its ilk.

Stay away.

This is a great family friendly game. There is no real pressure, you can sit back and relax and complete the puzzle at your leisure. The game times how long it takes you but there is nothing gained nor lost by the time you do the puzzle in. The choice of art relates to World locations and you "travel the globe" sampling the art from each location in the form of different shaped puzzles. The puzzles vary in difficulty.

The game is fairly short but extremely enjoyable. It is also great to play with the family.

10/10 would be shouted at to put the piece "there" again.

I enjoyed this game and the characters, voice acting and characterization are awesome. That said it is a walking simulator. You follow the story and although you can choose your path to get from A to B, you will ultimately end up at "B". The story is the part that let's the game down. There are opportunities for events (such as Bear encounters) but they are never realised. I don't mind the odd build up then anti-climax but the story does this a few times and all the build up is wasted.

The game is also really short. The graphics are great, the voice acting excellent and the control system is functional. I enjoyed the game despite it's faults. This is one of those occasions where Steam needs a middle category rather than recommend/not recommended. I got this game as part of a monthly subscription to HB. Had I paid £15's for 5 hours, I would be clicking not recommended. As it is I paid around £12 for several games and this was one of them, so it's fine for me.

The problem is although the characters were amazing and the setting awesome. It never really delivers, you never really get to interact with fire. The story has an anti-climax and there is no real payoff at the end to your relationship building throughout the game. Multiple endings depending on your conversation throughout would have been a great touch and would go a long way to repairing the faults of the game.

I am literally 50/50 to recommend or not. I enjoyed the game. The conversation kept me playing. I wanted to see the story through and find out what happened. This all steers me towards recommending.

The length of the story, the asking price on steam, how the story plays out and the many missed opportunities steer me towards not recommending.

I guess if you pick it up in a sale it would be worth it to meet Henry and Delilah.

I had a great time playing this. Got pretty close to the end but a hard drive failure resulted in me having to start over (no cloud saves). It is testimony to how good the game is that I started over and played through again. This is not a FPS or a third person shooter in the usual way. This is more of an interactive movie with some cool gunplay and slow-mo shootouts al la the Matrix.

The story twists and turns and takes you through the world of the rich and the favelas of the poor. The game describes the setting as "Bagdad with G-strings" and that sums it up pretty well. Flash-backs flesh out the story and Max's own personal journey from the first games. The graphics are great, the sound is awesome and as long as you go in knowing it is an interactive movie you will enjoy the gameplay as well.

The whole game is fairly dark and definitely not one for the kiddies. Age rating are there for a reason and this game delivers on the adult rating being justified. The setting of certain sections of the game is "adult", the levels of violence and pretty much the entire feel and theme of the game make this not suitable for kids. I also doubt they will enjoy the story which is rich and details the fall of Max into depression and the corruption of his environment (trying to avoid spoilers here). I enjoyed the story but you get out what you put in. If you relate to Max and his situation then you will enjoy it. If you view Max as just a means for you to jump around in bullet time and make that sweet headshot, you might not enjoy it as much.

Locations are varied and the gameplay changes up accordingly. Sniper sections, On rails (spoiler) ride. There are collectables which I didn't enjoy as looking for the gun parts took away the immersion for me. The ending is fairly cliché but it still managed to be satisfying.

I didn't experience any crashes as other reviews have mentioned. Maybe try playing it on a PC and not a potato?

It is a good game and being able to slow-mo shoot a guy in the groin never gets old. I recommend this game, even though it is aging it is aging like a fine wine.

This is one of those games obviously designed for Android/phones. However, it still proves to be a good little game that provides a blast of fun. The premise of the game is that you are a Witch kidnapping children and cooking them up in your pot. Score is recorded as collected meat from your "endeavours". Enemies come in the form of protective Daddies who are a mean shot with their shotguns. They don't hesitate to give you a face full of buckshot.

The price point is also spot on. In a sale this will be a steal, as it is a really fun game.

I look forward to them adding stages and possibly bosses. Bosses would be awesome.
