This game makes you feel like a shark and you have a mission. It is somewhat open world and wilder than an aquatic Rick James party. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I don't like Sharks, I know they only attack you if you are wet but some part of me hates them instinctively. Despite that I always wanted to be a shark. Not just any shark, but a giant, ferocious one that eats everything in sight. And that's exactly what you get to do in Maneater. You play as a bull shark, the game lets you explore the underwater world like never before. You can eat anything from fish to humans, and chomping on some unsuspecting beach-goers is one of the most satisfying experiences you'll ever have. And if you're lucky, you might just find yourself a little cat named Fluffy that makes for a tasty snack (and you get to call yourself replace the word "man" in the title with ♥♥♥♥♥).

The game has it's fair share of memes narrated by Chris Parnell (so hide the women-folk). You've got the "Shark Week" reference that will have you laughing your dorsal fin off, and let's not forget about the "Maneater" song that will have you humming along as you devour everything in your path.

Maneater is a fun, easy and short game but well worth you sinking your teeth into, if you catch it on sale. It's got everything you could ever want in a shark game, from the humor to the carnage, and it's all wrapped up in a nice little bow of memes. Are you looking for an adrenaline-pumping, action-packed shoot 'em up game that will keep you on the edge of your seat? Look no further than Q-yo Blaster! Is it R-type levels of polished? No. Is it worth a couple of credits and a quick blast-a-romp? Yes.

From the moment you start playing, you'll be hooked on the fast-paced gameplay and thrilling boss battles. The graphics are stunning. Although there is some confusion as to what is in the foreground and can hit you and what is in the background and needn't be dodged.

The music is immersive, and the controls are responsive and intuitive. The variety of weapons and power-ups will keep you engaged and eager to discover what's next. It isn't entirely clear what does what, but part of the fun is experimenting. What really sets Q-yo Blaster apart is the quirky and lovable cast of characters. Each one has their own unique personality and naff story, making the game feel like some effort has been put in at least.

Q-yo Blaster goes on sale and works out at less than quid (£1), well worth a look at that price. There is also a 2 player mode so if you have friends you can enjoy blasting together but unfortunately you can't blast one another. I'll leave that there, "get blasting"

This is a fun little game that is fun for young and old. If you can move an object around the screen, you can play this game. It takes very little if any skill. You could probably teach a chimp to play this, but the chimp probably wouldn’t appreciate the story (you never know). It is a silly and dumb story about a Raccoon deploying donut holes that you then control to clear an environment of items.

I love the art style and it all works pretty well. The sound and music are great and the characters are well designed and a little different from the norm. Simple, stupid and outright nonsense, yet entertaining and fun. If you are looking for a game to play with your kids, for kids to play or to give to someone with very little intelligence, this is it.

Well worth a look, especially for kids, non-gamers or someone just looking for a bit of "strange".

The short and dirty way to describe Mad Max, is "it's so bad it's good!"

Let me set the scene for those unfamiliar with the brand - you're in a post-apocalyptic world where the only thing that's running is your sweet, sweet ride. Water is scarce and fought over. The world has given into base desires, think of the setting as the cast of the "Joker" being thrown into the "Fast and the Furious."

The gameplay is best described as "Grand Theft Auto" on a really, really bad acid trip. You will be driving, shooting, and crafting your way through this desert wasteland like a boss. I mean, what's not to love about a game where you can upgrade your car to have flamethrowers on the side?! Well, unfortunately, there's quite a lot. The immersion never really sucks you in completely because the game elements feel really "gamey." Shining items, icons, etc. all remind you that you are in a game and it is somewhat jarring.

The game is quite old now and it shows. The graphics are straight out of a PS2 game and the character animations are far from polished or even on par with other games of the time. It's like they hired the animators from "The Sims" and told them to make it as janky as possible. For those who believe "If it ain't janky, it ain't fun!" You'll be having lots of fun with glitches sprinkled on top. Often to comedic effect until you realise you need to get task master up to quit and start over.

That said if you're looking for a game that will make you say "WTF did I just play?" then Mad Max is the game for you. And honestly it is quite fun when it works. The driving is decent, the fighting isn't that bad and the crafting elements add reasons to do the side missions. The story is ok, nothing epic but it is engaging and kept me playing to completion.

Don't expect this game to blow your mind or great graphics or animation and you'll enjoy a desert romp with a pretty cool theme. It's the video game equivalent of a B-movie, but with more explosions and less cheese. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

I had fun with Secrets of Magic: The Book of Spells that is a recommendation on its own. It is a fun and charming "Match-3" puzzle game much like Bejeweled. The game features colourful graphics and well animated characters, magic is thrown into the mix to keep things "spicy. The game play is spellbinding (pun inteneded) and will keep you entertained for hours. Especially if you are going for all the achievements.

The incorporation of magical elements and spells gives the game a fresh feel and provides a new challenge for players who may be familiar with Bejeweled and the like. The presentation is where Secrets of Magic shines, the characters and icons are are well drawn and have appeal be you a child or like yours truly an old man. The game also has a great soundtrack, and the magical effects and animations are all well done. There is a sort of story but nothing to write home about. It does break up the levels and provide a nice backdrop for the puzzle action.

Is there anything new here, no. But if you are looking for a fun match 3 game with a magical theme, then this is the game for you. It is a solid and enjoyable puzzle game that's well worth checking out.

Recommended, I would burn Spiders to death again.

TL:DR: Highly recommended, you’ll lose yourself in the game see that hours have passed and you spent all that time doing everything but the main story because you were enjoying yourself too much.

Yakuza 0 takes from several sources to make itself a great and epic tale. For fans of HK Cinema you will recognise elements of the story are directly ripped from John Woo’s masterpiece “The Killer.” Yes this is Japan and not Hong Kong, Yakuza and not Triads but the similarities are certainly there. This is no bad thing, after all if you are going to “borrow,” then borrow form the best.

This game is a prequel to the Yakuza series, set in the late 1980s in Japan. You will learn about Japanese culture, and may even learn things you wish you hadn’t like there being special shops where you go to watch videos and “play with yourself.” Well moving swiftly on and back to the story, you play as Kazuma Kiryu, a young yakuza member, and Goro Majima, a former Yakuza member, as they navigate the criminal underworld of Kamurocho, Tokyo, and Sotenbori, Osaka.

I have to say that the greatest strength of Yakuza 0 is its story. Sure the mini-games and map are great but for me it is all about the narrative. The game has a well-written and engaging narrative that is filled with twists and turns. The characters are well-developed and likable, with a sort of goofy charm to them. Enemies are equally fleshed out and feel very real. Your interactions with them vary from comically entertaining to really emotional. The story isn’t afraid to hit you in the “feels.” I’ve never been to Japan but there is a great atmospheric quality to the game and I can only assume it captures 1980s Japan authentically.

The gameplay in Yakuza 0 is enjoyable. The combat system is fast-paced and satisfying with a variety of moves and weapons to use. The game also offers a variety of side activities and mini-games such as karaoke, pool, and arcade games, which adds depth and variety to the gameplay.

Yakuza 0 is a fantastic game that is well worth playing. Its combination of a compelling story, engaging characters, and satisfying gameplay make it a must-play for fans of the series and newcomers alike.

Highly Recommended.

This is a Batmobile game with Batman bits. I love the story but let's face it that is what it is. If you ever wondered what it would be like to sneak around and attack people from behind "like Batman" but only this time Batman is a Tank. This is the game for you. You literally sneak around as a huge armoured vehicle. Also the meme "the answer to any comic who would win question is always: Batman" can be extended to this game only now it is "If you are ever stuck wondering: How do I get pass this bit?" the answer will be "The Batmobile" some how some way it will be shoehorned in to be the answer. Does that suck? Yes, does that ruin the game, strangely No. It is still fun.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the fourth and final installment in the highly acclaimed Batman: Arkham series and is the weakest link but has an ending that made me sit back and just appreciate all the hard work that went into this epic tale. The game's story takes place one year after the events of Batman: Arkham City, with Scarecrow returning to Gotham City and uniting all of Batman's greatest foes to destroy the Dark Knight once and for all. Players are placed in the role of Batman as he battles against a host of iconic villains such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, and the Penguin, as well as a new and mysterious threat known only as the Arkham Knight. As usual the game's greatest strength is its combat system, which builds upon the mechanics introduced in previous games to deliver a fluid and satisfying experience. Smashing someone's face in has never felt so good.

For me gliding around with grapple boost was way more fun than driving, but whatever tickles your tickly bots. The map is large with plenty to explore and find. Hunting down criminals, solving riddles and finding collectibles. The city is again similar to the other Arkham games, so filled with side-missions and Riddler Trophies to collect.

The Batmobile as much as Ilove to hate it does have decent driving mechanics and some cool skins. Brings me to the game's visuals and audio are both top-notch, with stunning attention to detail in the character models and the city environments, and an atmospheric and immersive soundtrack that perfectly captures the mood of the game. The voice acting is also excellent, Actually made me a little sad thinking this was the last time we'd get the late great Kevin Conroy as Batman (but he is also in SS vs JL). We of course get our hero Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Joker and he delivers an excellent performance.

Batman: Arkham Knight is a fitting end to the series and is a must-play Batman fans, with a compelling story, all your favourite characters, and an open-world environment that is a joy to explore. Batman: Arkham Knight is a game that Batman fans should not miss.

Cook, Serve, Delicious! is a fantastic cooking simulation game that offers a unique and engaging gameplay experience. In the game, you play as a chef who runs a restaurant and must manage every aspect of the business, from cooking and serving dishes to managing your finances and upgrading your restaurant.

One of the standout features of Cook, Serve, Delicious! is its realistic and detailed cooking gameplay. Each dish requires precise timing and attention to detail, and the controls are intuitive and responsive. The variety of dishes available is also impressive, with over 180 different recipes to prepare and serve to your customers.

In addition to the cooking gameplay, the management aspects of the game are also well-done. Managing your finances and upgrading your restaurant can be challenging, but it is rewarding to see your restaurant grow and become more successful.

Overall, Cook, Serve, Delicious! is a must-play for fans of cooking simulations and management games. The gameplay is challenging but satisfying, and the variety of dishes and upgrades keeps the game fresh and interesting. So, I would definitely recommend this game to others.
