Hi folks. I've spent too little time on STEAM on this game, but I've played it on my XBGP to its conclusion.
As expected, it has been a dream for any Potterhead like me. Customization for your character, tons of wardrobes and gadgets to wear, some just cosmetics, but others improve specific stats.
The beginning is strong, with an excellent mission/tutorial for newcomers.
The details in this game are impressive: graphics, special effects, textures, and all the surroundings are astonishing.
You can roam free around Hogwarts Castle and all the surrounding area.
The rewards for linking your account with WB or the Wizarding World accounts are outstanding.
The game itself is full of adventures and diverse missions. You can feel some of them repetitive at some point, but the game is just great.
I highly recommend this game to every HP fan, and I know there are many.

Great game
It's good to go back to this franchise.
Great visuals and gameplay as the first Dying Light.
Recommended.

An elegant weapon for a more civilized rythm games.
People, what can I say?...
I am a musician... I love Star Wars... well, Star Wars before being overtaken by The Mouse Company...
And I like rythm games.
Mix all together and you'll have Beat Saber.
Great game, great electronica music, great controls and precise moves.
The visual effects are top-notch, now changed a little bit, but looks better and I hope more songs will be added for this amazing game. Some songs can be purchased to increase your library.
If you like rythm games, in a Tron-esque environment, with lightsabers... this is the game for you... plus you'll have a sweat-inducing cardio workout that you'll enjoy.
As a matter of fact, you'll want more, much more of this.

My first impressions...

I have an Oculus Rift VR set, with 2 touch controllers and 3-Sensor array.
My PC have a Core i7 5960X processor, an ASUS Rampage V Extreme MoBo, 32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 of RAM and a couple of GTX 980Ti Nvidia cards in SLI mode.

- Want to hunt in Jurassic Park? This is for you
- Want to shoot and/or stab dinos? This is for you
- Like to explore? This is for you

So far, I like this game a lot. Great presentation, good initial tutorial, and a very atmospheric environment.

What I dislike?

- For Oculus Rift users, the position of weapons is not properly adjusted, resulting in poor aiming. Since I don't have a HTC vive, I think the vive users have a better weapon position. For a good example of proper weapon position refer to Arizona Sunshine. In this game, the weapons feel great and your aim is much better.
- It’s hard to adjust the proper virtual character size... I am a 6 ft 1 inch guy but in the game I feel like a 5 foot guy with long arms and short legs.
- The point and grab feature needs to be refined. Sometimes it’s hard to get boxes, health packs, fuel cans and ammo boxes. For some reason, maybe because the collision boxes are more finely tuned, ammo clips, knives and guns are easier to pick up.
- The sounds, especially from the Velociraptors, seem to be low quality. So far, the rest of the sounds are great.
- The prices of the items for sale seem to be high, and when you try to sell your items, the paid credits are miserable.
- Sometimes, when I look down, my body is twisted, so it’s difficult to grab or place the objects in your hands in the vest pockets.

I think I’ll update my impressions when the game gets improved.

HW:
Oculus RIft+Touch Controllers+3-sensor 360° array in a Core i7 5960X with dual GTX 980Ti, 32 GB RAM computer.

Totally agree with AppSpy: “It is the mech game you’ve always wanted.”
Its a short demo, but totally immersive. There was a few times when I felt some discomfort of motion sickness, but you get used to it very quickly.
I disagree with some opinions wrote here... I think the controls are very intuitive. You control your mech with the sticks of the Touch controllers for forward/backwards and strafe left or right, and you turn around with your view.
One trigger activate the miniguns and the other the missiles.
I can't wait to get the full game. Reminds me the good ol' times with the Mechwarrior franchise.
Try this demo, I think you will be entertained and satisfied.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The third installment of the novel-inspired Polish saga of a paid monster slayer, about the adventurous search for Ciri, the noble witcher-girl, who is the target for assassination of the Wild Hunt and the desperate efforts of Geralt of Rivia to find her before the Wild Hunt does, with the help of certain characters, some of them already known and some others new. And the two major DLCs, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions add more ground to cover, of the already vast Witcher world, The Northernlands with Velen, Novigrad, Skellige Islands, Kaer Morhen, White Orchard, Toussaint and Vizima Palace, as well as new missions, new contracts and treasure hunts, which expand the already great options of steel and silver blades, armors and magical items, runes and sign stones.
The game is beautiful, a delight for the eyes. Feels like a colorful and alive world with rivers flowing, flying and chirping birds, I mean, flora and fauna are discretely added to enhance the view, and some of the animals can be sacrificed to be used as food or trading/crafting objects. The world is gorgeously rendered, with The Duchy of Toussaint as the highlight.
In the other hand, the monsters. A Witcher’s way of living is pointless without them. There are a lot of them, scattered in all the maps, each of them with different characteristics, strong and weak points, which force to the player to take a strategy in order to slay them. They are exquisitely detailed and rendered, and sound effects are a great complement for the image.
Speaking of sounds, the sound effects and the dynamic background music are excellent. An immersive, rich world of sounds that perfectly mate with the extraordinary visuals of this game, from the sounds of the surrounding environment (river water, waves from the ocean, the wind blowing in the trees, etc.) to the sound of the parts of the Geralt’s outfit, the conversations between the NPCs, among other. The dialogues are well done, with a master-grade narrative that sometimes makes you feel you are watching a movie.
The gameplay is awesome. The controls are responsive and intuitive in the majority of the actions. The combat system is very easy, crossing slightly on the edge of repetitive, but the cast of signs, rune enhancements and timing save the day. The missions are divided into main quests, secondary quests, contracts and treasure hunts, they are varied and involve monster slaying (naturally!), bodyguarding, marksmanship, person and object searching/identifying, horse racing, fist fighting and Gwent matches/tournaments, a card game that is a mixture of Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh in mechanics (a good game-in-game feature). Some monster slaying can give you access to trophies that you can mount in your horse (named Roach, by the way) which gives you bonuses, depending on the rarity of the trophy in question. Some bonuses apply to looting (more herbs, more gold, for example) others apply to combat against monsters or humans and others to character improving, like more Experience Points. In this game, your horse plays a very important role, not just for traveling. The enhancements for your horse give you bonuses in carrying capacity and monster trophies (like Hag, Wyvern or Dragon heads) the before mentioned features. Some other enhancements work only for your horse, like increase of stamina for the horse ride competitions and the withstanding of fear, when you are riding Roach and confront enemies, preventing you fall off the horse when the fear level reaches max.
Geralt of Rivia can cross the land by foot, by sailing or by horse riding. With exploration or by purchasing maps from local vendors, Geralt can make fast traveling to specific sites, which are scattered along the maps. The same fast traveling system exists for sailing, in which the sign posts are changed for harbors. There are many good reasons to explore every corner of the maps. One, and in my opinion the strongest motivation is that you can find and wear (if your level is high enough) unique or special armors and weapons as well as the common ones, in several ways that include looting smuggler caches, destroying monster nests, looting bandit camps, among other ways. Also, by selling the looted objects you can make money in order to buy better weapons and armors, as well as for the crafting or enhancement of weapons or armors, runes, sign stones, potions, bombs or oils, diagrams or components for the crafting of all the mentioned objects. Exploration also gives you more missions and gives you the chance of meeting new merchants, herbalists, armorers and blacksmiths for trading, crafting, repairing and enhancing your items.
The leveling of Geralt is an important feature of the game because some areas and mainly for some missions, a recommended level is required. The confronting of enemies require certain levels too, but armor and weapons require a minimum in order to be equipped. Using certain trophies (for XP bonuses) and some potions like Wolven Hour can help you for fast ability development and character leveling or by minimizing the level required for some weapons and armors. Character leveling is also necessary in order to obtain points for ability development using a skill tree system. Abilities are related to certain signs, like Quen, Aard, Axii and Igni, some for close combat, ranged combat, management of stamina and vitality, some for special abilities and some others are for mutators. Mutators, like other items in the game, are obtained in different ways and are used for some potions as well as for the enhance of abilities in the character section. Green ones give you vitality bonuses, reds for attack bonuses and blues for sign affinity. The basic forms are looted from monsters and the most advanced can be crafted by Geralt himself or by herbalists. Later in the game, you’ll find more forms to craft mutators, simple and complex, even convert one to another different mutator.
There are so many things to talk about The Witcher 3 like the best set of armor/blades, the making of decisions that change the outcome of the game, the best set of cards for Gwent tournaments, the best enchantings for weapons or armor, among other things. We can spend hours talking about all these, but the best you can do is to buy it… and play it. I’ve spent almost 200 hours in this fantastic game. You won´t regret it, you’ll want more.

The announcement of this masterpiece recalled some great memories... Doom was my first MP game.
I've enjoyed years after of demon-ass kicking sessions alone and sleepless nights of gaming with my friends at that time.
I bought the collectors' edition (not from STEAM, of course) which is absolutely great. The statuette of the Revenant is well crafted, exactly as the computer model of the game, and I tell you without being afraid to mention this... is one of the best collector editions I have bought in my life.
This game have, at least of all the games I've ever played, one of the best optimized graphics engines in the business. Runs ok in my seasoned Alienware m17x R3, HDD and RAM upgraded, from 2011, and in my most recent rig (X99 ASUS MoBo, Intel Core i7 5960X, and dual SLI GTX 980 Ti) is a silk-smooth, gut-ripping rave party. Textures, models, sound, gameplay, Metal dynamic background music... everything is extraordinary. The most amazing thing is that this Doom feels like the old Doom, even with the tremendous technological and graphical differences between them.
The new feature called Glory Kill is violently satisfying, great addition to the parkourish-style of this new iteration of Doom, and well implemented in the challenges. Some levels are a non-stop gory action-packed, guns-blazing festival... then the silence, with the welcomed feeling of satisfaction at the end. This kind of experiences makes you going back again, to taste the emotion. Action so addictive... you'll feel like a diabetic in a candy store.
I fully recommend this game... you won't regret it.

Like playing the Resident Evil 2 movie...
Although is go to point A to point B kind of game, it' never the same...
Lots of action, with some pauses to "catch the breath"...
Great in multiplayer, locally or online...
Bad things... almost the same options of weapons and arsenal... AI bots get stucked frequently, and in consequence get killed in the possible dumbest way, usually when you need them the most if you are playing solo.
More sweet than bitter, great game.

For a (almost) point n' click game, you'll be surprised how good the story is and how immersive the gameplay results. As a fan of the comic series (haven't seen the TV series) it's almost as playing a character in the comic. Good cel-shading visuals. Excellent game.
