I have loved Mechwarrior since the original. I am still pretty early but the story is decent. I do like BT lore so this is something I have been waiting for a while. I did love MW5 also... so much so I got it ...elsewhere because I couldn't wait. Graphics look good. it seems to actually run better on my 3080 than the last one for whatever reason. HOTAS review will be added once the new one arrives. If you are a battletech or Mechwarrior fan must buy. if you like stompy mechs or even sims it's worth a look perhaps on sale but yea! loving it so far. Really co-op is the way to go here. The AI pilots are horrible and will get in your way and shoot you in the back. That's my only issue with it really.

Having a lot of fun in this one. ARPG fans should take a look for sure. There is a cosmetic shop it's not pushy about it. I do find the difficulty spikes at times out of nowhere but that might just be me not ready for that one element I need resistance to.. Co-op is great and easy to get going. There are a wide range of classes.something for everyone. end game is fun clearing levels to open events in timelines, better drop rates for gear. You should be able to trade with people in your party as I have found a ot of great gear... for other classes. The only thing I wished they had was a key to hold to attack while not moving. That needs to be added. They have options but none work as well as say... hold shift to stationary attack. I grabbed during summer sale 24 and well well worth it! Thanks for reading!

They seem to have fixed the cling-ons not logging out. I was able to login without any issue multiple times today. The game play is funny. CO-op is great. Wish there was more solo options. Getting anything on level up would be cool. As it stands now it just allows you to unlock different drop upgrades or new weapons if you have the cash. Plays well with a controller or a m/kb. Not pushy on the pay aspects. Decent price. Worth a real look. Thanks for reading.

Been waiting on this one for a bit. Loves me some Starship troopers! Yes its playable yes it's fun! but is lacking some features 2 game modes currently.... a capture point to move to next objective then build a base and hold off the swarm.... the second is unlocked at level 5 (I am almost there more on that later) ( It's in EA so that makes sense) Super intense and fun. 3 classes think of them like dps/scout then a heavy arm/tank then a healer/support. Gun play feels good and killing bugs is a lot of fun. Calling out targets helps the squad take out threats. Worth the price to see it from EA through though Things needed - an offline kinda sandbox environment to play alone/horde mode and invite a friend /friends to learn. I felt bad because the squad I joined my first time I ran around and didn't help much... but I feel at least "I did my part" heh. They need/ I hope are going to flesh out the tutorial it's like 3 steps with no combat and it's over but I am sure they will add more. Please next update allow me to host a friends only server. Having a lot of fun though more to come later, all net all channels.... Do you want to know more?

Still better than rise. We need a world 2. Fantastic game. if you are on the fence between this and Rise get this one.

Didn't play until the newest update but I am having a lot of fun with it. It feels like a mixture of D2 and the Division 2. but it's not a live service game you can look for friends or join others games but it can be played 100% alone. World tier system is nice if you get stuck or want to try to get better gear. I think I am getting close to the end of the game but I did every hunt which are a blast and every bounty which are also fun. Being able to switch the look of gear whenever you want and the ability to reset skill points lets you try out different looks and different play styles for the class chosen. Graphics are nice there are a few small bugs I have noticed but nothing big. I got this on sale for 26 dollars CAD and it was much worth it. Gun play feels good Melee abilities are decent for sure worth a look if it's on sale. Thanks for reading

I really enjoyed my time in game. It looks great and the combat (for the ranger at least) was pretty fun. Sure you can buy stuff to progress faster.... but like... you can also umm not buy them I don't mind if others get stronger faster than I do. I honestly don't mind the pvp aspect either because guess what? There will always be someone stronger than you or who has more time to play or deeper pockets but that shouldn't put you off if you like the game... it reminds me of lineage 2 and it's Karma system. I kinda like that since it make for ingame guilds that are "evil" and others that stand up to them or red hunters good times.. Stay on your toes and you too can escape and live to fight another day! My issue is with it always crashing. It will freeze up randomly or give d3d errors (yes I did the troubleshooting and it's not heat either) Perhaps it's because I am using a Ryzen cpu or something but it happened frequently enough for me to uninstall. Wish I could give it a maybe but I will give it a thumbs up because I don't think it deserves all the hate it's getting for the pvp thing.... don't like pvp? Play something else. who knows maybe they will patch that as it's kinda scummy to sell a 1 hour no pvp buff or perhaps add a pve server. I dunno I liked it thanks for reading.

Alright I get some of the hate but I think more time in game is needed. I don't understand the decision to only allow some items to have different skins. I have yet to see the pre-order items and I have all tiers of gear. (finally found a bow that works with these skins) The idea you can't skip the summary screen even playing solo offline is different also having a timer once the level is clear but not allowing you to move during that counter. The combat is clunky.... at first... once you start unlocking moves it gets much much better. Co-op is the way to go with this one. I am having a better time than I expected. Use a controller and increase the sensitivity for aiming and moving the camera... that helps a ton. What can I say if you want a decent hack and slash with friends this should do it I am sure there will be patches to address some of the bugs... the only one I have seen so far is a random health bar on my screen. Wait for a sale I would say. Hopefully some patching is coming for the combat lag but it's not game breaking and totally workable once you get accustom to the move set and animations. Been waiting on this one for a while now. It makes no sense as to why the enemy can attack during your turn and then gets their own turn to also attack but your squad can't. The melee attacks are a joke and are a quick time event. Bad translation I can deal with but the first actual enemy in a mech you fight is a damage sponge. Too bad I was really looking forward to a decent Front mission type game on Steam. Yes I only played an hour but I know I will not play more. It's not fun to me at all. Maybe the full release will help but I don't want to stick around to find out.

I don't know how I missed this game. I am only talking single player currently as I have yet to try multiplayer but wow. I love freedom of movement in FPS and I find with the exception of the unreal games there is a real lack of it now which made me pull away from FPS in general. Wall running double jumping gives me flashes of UT2004 and jedI outcast/Academy. Titans... I love mech games been playing Mechwarrior since the original and love to pilot big stompy mechs Titan piloting scratches that itch and feels less simulation more arcade which I didn't mind at all. The story is decent thus far. The gun play feels great and the game play in general is smooth for the 13 dollars (CDN) I paid for it SO worth it already a big recommend from me. Thanks for reading.
