Great story. Great characters. Immersive survival gameplay. Standard acceptable combat gameplay. Did not have any game breaking or softlocking bugs during my playthrough. A real love letter to the original trilogy and the idea and lore of the Zone. Cant wait for DLC.

Early Access Review
Despite it being early access it is an entertaining looter-shooter with excellent immersive grimdark atmospherics and art direction. Enemy aesthetic design and level design is on point and brings you into the post apocalyptic nightmare future of the game. Wide variety of quests on offer for loot and for water.

Excellent tactical shooter. Difficult and on the realism side of the tactical shooter scale, but definitely very rewarding. Plenty of choice for weapons, gear and methods of achieving the objectives, and the addition of dynamic spawn points for enemies make missions not repetitive and add a level of replay-ability. A team management-lite style metagame with different officers and abilities and the need to rest them between missions also added an additional level of complexity which i enjoyed.

Excellent sequel. Same great story development and likeable characters. Combat was semi-challenging on hard mode so might not be as punishing as other souls-like players would want. Only downside was alot of the other planets didnt seem to have the same layer of detail as Koboh. Would recommend.

Excellent top down squad shooter. Intense, engaging game play which puts you on edge, especially when you are low on supplies and you are being hunted with no clear way to extract via APC. Rewarding squad building mechanics with individual marine traits and levelling system which pushes you to care more about your squad members and be protective of your best people. Excellent level and environmental design draws you into the setting. Passable story, with the usual tropes associated with the alien franchise, but still enjoyable. Only had one bug with a secondary mission not ticking off despite fulfilling the requirement but nothing game breaking. Thoroughly enjoyable game from start to finish.

Thoroughly enjoyable refresh of the seminal mech combat franchise. I have fond memories of Armoured Core 1 on the PS1 and this delivers on the same game play with even better visuals, customisation, and more insane bosses expected in a modern title. Difficultly curve is not steep if you are familiar with past Armoured Cores or other Fromsoft games. An engaging storyline is provided with likeable characters and passable voice acting. Despite having to play through the entire game three times to fulfill all the story branches, which seemed quite a task at first thought, your access to already unlocked components did help speed up the time of my second and third playthroughs immeasurably.

Brilliant and faithful remake of the 1990s classic seminal immersive sim/shooter which i played as a youngster but could never finish. The same good story and timeless antagonist, immersive gameplay and puzzles which make you have to figure out problems yourself which is a real step change from modern games where everything is normally handed to you. Really benefits from the time taken by the developers to refurbish and update the look of the original while retaining the same design cues, and also benefits from the new gameplay additions which only improve on the original and bring it up to todays expected standards. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Fun distraction game which does exactly what it says on the tin. Classic 90s-era shooter gameplay, although the gameplay loop gets a tad samey at times. Plenty of interesting weapons and interesting levels to get through with a variety of environments which nail the Warhammer 40000 aesthetics and theme. Volkite weapon goes CHOOOOOM. Great game.

Decent AA grade shooter. Pretty much a diet Doom Eternal with the frenetic nature of the combat and heavy metal soundtrack. Some jank in cutscenes and a pretty flat story, but beautiful environments and visuals very fitting to the setting. The level fighting the genestealer cult as well was a nice change of pace. Makes me want to start tabletop Necromunda again.

Brilliant game. One of the classics. TGraphics are aged however the tactical level gameplay is timeless.
