When I frist started playing this game I really enjoyed it and wanted to get better at it. I found the iea of parachuting in and then working with whatever you found to be exciting and loved the feeling of finding some great weapons and armour and then going about seeing how long I could last.

Graphics are pretty good but frame rrate does drop sometimes but the game is only just out of early access so I expected all this.

What I didnt expect was for the game to suddenly stop working after the last patch. Now it gets to the opening credits and crashes nearly every time. When I do get to play (about once in twenty loads) the game will crash once I try to exit back to the main menu and back we go again to trying many times for a lucky chance at playing the game.

Many people seem to be having problems with the game and thats why I cant recommend spending £26.99 on a game that is probaly going to cause you issues somewhere. I hope they sort this game out soon but right now save your money.

Its rare to find a gam that works this well. All the controls and movement give you a great deal of control and you dont get that "can I actually climb on that ledge or will I just jump up and down" feeling.

The background story to the world that the city of Dunwall inhabits is also very detailed and you can choose to read the books and scrolls left lying around to find out more about the lore of the world.

The combat is quite satisfying and Corvos finishing moves are just bloody enough. Its nice that the game doesnt punish you for your style of play and you can complete the game without even being seen or killing a single character, or you can rampage the game leaving a trail of corpses.

People who have played the old Thief games will find some of Dishonored very familiar but this isnt a bad thing as Thief was outstanding. My advice is to have your first play through without trying to stealth the game completely. Kill when seen and react to your situations without quickloading. Its way more enjoyable and lets you experiment with the arcane powers and different weapons which you would avoid if trying to reamin unseen. That pistol also has a great sound so put it to use.
