♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...it's Carmageddon!

A surprisingly good video game adaptation of a movie. Driving around the wastes is fun and engaging. The vistas are incredible and the atmophere, amazing.

The on-foot sections were, unfortunately, a lot less enjoyable for me. I quickly found melee combat to be unpleasant mostly due to it being hugely repetitive.

I'm actually on the fence on recommendation. I feel that half the game is great, and the other half a chore.

Even with it's lack of content, I can't help but recommend it for being the solid and enjoyable platformer that it is.

It's a game that lets you build rockets like you would lego, and fly them with your fingers crossed that they meet criteria to fulfill contracts all the while trying to ignore the plight of the screaming Kerbal(s) in the corner of the screen.

If you've ever wanted to know/learn how travelling in space really works, this is one of the few go-to's available. And the others aren't quite as entertaining.

Caution: you might hate the game for its more realistic portrayal of physics. Even if you don't, there's a risk that you'll find yourself nit-picking other space games for their lack of it. (Most of them are more like submarine sims, minus the water.)

The mod community is active and completely free.

While the game is now in full release, the devs are commited to adding more features on top of further bug fixing and balancing.
