Insurgency Sandstorm is a special kind of game. It walks a fine line between immersion and fast paced competitive FPS gameplay. Much like its predecessor IS excels at its frenetic close quarter battles over well-designed push and pull matches. What really sets it apart is the fine attention to details. Most of these are subtle like how reloading your weapon after actioning it will give you an extra round in the chamber. If you are in the market for a fun, fast passed multiplayer/coop shooter then Sandstorm is a finely polished gem.

The only significant limiting factor for this game is its player population. If you live in Australia or another isolated geographical region you will have difficulty finding populated servers. During holiday periods, or some high traffic periods there are servers to be found but it can be difficult to find one day to day. Highly recommend this game.
