This game is freakin' beautiful.
I really mean it.
When you think you've seen the most visually stunning thing in the game, it takes you, and throws you for a loop by hitting you with another one.
It's short, but it tells a whole lotta story in the short time that you play it.
Mostly through audio logs about what happened in the distant past, but there's a bit of story you experience for yourself as well.
The mechanics are solid and feel fair, and I'd also like to mention that this is pretty much a first person Sonic the Hedgehog game with the stupid high speeds that you can achieve.

An old game, that honestly isn't being updated anymore, but is nonetheless fun.
Also, you could run this thing on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toaster, so that's another plus.

This game is awesome.
It takes what made Shadow warrior great, and improves on it.
Every action you take feels like it does something, and all the weapons feel smooth and powerful.

This game also has no shortage of humor, even though it's mostly ♥♥♥♥ jokes and other rude humor.

also, the events that take place in the game make no sense without context, which make them 40 times as funny.

They removed multiplayer.

Edit: it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crashed and i lost about an hour of progress

Like skyrim with guns, WITHOUT guns.

in all seriousness though, this is pretty great for a game made in 2011.

Alright, all jokes aside, this game is about a physicist that went to MIT and accidentaly did some cross-dimensional shiz and unleashed aliens upon the world. He is then forced to arm himself with conventional weaponry, advanced, high, power prototypes and alien biotech in order to reach the surface and call for help.

WARNING: spoilers for the game ahead.
only to be met with army dudes that want to kill him in order to keep the entire event quiet.

Overall, 9/10, well executed with only a few game-breaking glitches.

Just looking at this game makes your testosterone flare, even if you aren't a guy.

Just a quick peice of advice, the "rich get richer" rune thing is a bit too powerful when combined with a fully upgraded turret mode minigun.

And who needs a complex plot when you have a chainsaw, a shotgun, and a gigantic plasma spewing gun that boils people alive?

Just play it.
Stop looking through the reviews and buy it.
Doesn't matter if it got spoiled, I had it spoiled and still enjoyed it.
If you're going in blind, remember to put some gold in a spiderweb for a bakesale, and keep whatever you got. It'll save you alot of frustration later on. Just don't eat it untill you fight muffet.
