As usual with any Warhammer 40K game, there is quite a bit of minutia and small details throughout, but really a blast to play. As others have said, if you like XCOM style of play and 40K, this hits the sweet spot. Had to look up some things to better understand, the directions can come fast on much of the machinations, but overall thumbs up and worth buying.

It's like Diablo 2 and Torchlight 2 had a wonderful baby.

Really want to love this game. Graphics and presentation are great. Difficulty is ridiculous even on lowest level. Frustratingly inconsistent on hit %. Quite of bit of micromanagement at your "base" considering the game type. Frustration level is too high for me to want to continue.

So, been reading about this game for ever, finally bought it on sale on a whim. Overall, enjoy the game, limited narrative really, you build, upgrade, equip your squad and then head out on missions. Not a huge turn based player, but appreciate it for what it is. For being quite an old game, the graphics are still pretty good, felt like I was playing an old school Capcom fighter graphics-wise. I will say, the game on the Normal difficulty setting is pretty hard. Each mission has varying difficulty, but I definitely have had some head scratching moments after a mission. But overall, enjoy it, and appreciate the style and gameplay.

Great little TD game. I am very particular about the Tower Defense games I buy, and this one fit the bill. Great graphics, traditional TD gameplay, good story. It is missing some polish, but overall really happy with the game. Length of story so far is great too, really enjoy after 5-7 hours.

I played the heck out of the first one and loved it and this one is just more of the same awesome graphics, sound effects, level design, hero design, and on and on. Truly enjoy this one, its like total zone out time when I play it, I get so engrossed in it, so much fun. Have always been fascinated with the Tower Defense games, but this one hits the sweet spot for me over all others. And its damn cheap. Download it now. Thank me later.
