FromSoft created a DLC that other companies would have sold as a full priced sequel. Exploration is key, they spent a lot of time on creating a zone layout that is fascinating to explore and rewarding to explore, and if you try to go straight from boss to boss you're going to be forgoing the DLC's progression mechanic (scadutree blessing) and you'll make the game harder on yourself.

If you enjoy Fromsoft games, you'll love this dlc. If you don't enjoy games that challenge you, Animal Crossing might be more your speed

Its easy to see why this is the number 1 mmo in the world. They are doing everything right. Very fair monetization. A Story that puts most single player RPGs to shame. Group content that blows you away. And don't even get me started on the music. I didn't know video game music could be this good. Amazing, all I can say is try it, the beginning is a little slow. But it just ramps up from there!
