The culmination of Larians work over the decades pays off in this absolute masterpiece.

Not much else to say, everyone knows this game is one of the best RPG's ever made and it will very likely stand the test of time with its incredible amount of variety and replayability.

Strongly recommend everyone to try it out.

One of the best RPG's ever made. Many things to do in the game, and the game allows for many different solutions to every encounter.

Some of the pro's for this game include:
* High level of customizability for your party.
* Excellent art design, graphics and voice acting.
* Incredibly immersive world building.
* High level of replayability to experience the story of all the origin characters.

The game suffers from some problems though, the biggest one in my opinion being that the games loot system is akin to an action RPG which doesn't fit well with the general tone of the game.

The second one is some pretty bad inventory management where you need to transfer items between characters regularly, especially if you play without a high strength character, and you need to move the items over to the one with the highest Bartering/Attitude to the merchant when selling.

Most, if not all, problems can be solved or alleviated with mods but for you who desire a pure playthrough keep this in mind.

These are overall minor inconveniences on the whole and I can't but strongly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of RPG's.

This game can simply be described as roguelite perfection. The gameplay loop feels very rewarding once you get a grasp of what boons to mix and mash. There are many ways the weapons can be modified to behave completely opposite to your expectations, or boons will change your playstyle dramatically and it's always exciting to see what a new run will toss at you.

You might plan a sword dash run, but the Gods have a different fate for you in mind and you end up with a build where you exclusively deal damage with your dashes(yes, it's possible). Or you get blessed with a menageri of cast enhancement boons and get pulled down that route instead. Endless possibilities. Endless fun.

Story elements that tie into the whole roguelite genre are handled very well. The characters you meet are a treat and you look forward to hearing from them again. A lot of extra story is availabled through the codex for those interested.

The visual style is beyond superb and it's a treat to meet all of the different characters in the game.

The terrific voice acting is the cherry on top which further enhances the whole game to stand out as one of the most stunning games made as of late.

Great first entry for the Pathfinder system into the world of CRPG's and with turn-based mod support available there's no reason not to pick this up if you are a fan of this style of RPG's now that the Enhanced Edition has made Kingdom Management less of a hassle.

Finally a good spiritual successor to Theme Hospital that ticks all the boxes you would want for this type of game. Minor balance issues but nothing that takes away from the fun.

+ Good pacing on introducing new diseases and ways to cure them.
+ Excellent art direction.
+ Atmospheric levels.
+ Clever diseases and ways to show and cure them.
+ Non-intrusive multiplayer which can add some fun to the game, or can safely be ignored without missing anything.
+ Announcer does not feel intrusive or annoying despite you hearing the same lines a lot when playing for lengthy periods of time.

- Inter-connectedness for research-purposes just feels pointless. Unlock something new, load up your pre-established research facility and spend some time there to get all upgrades for it. This is intended gameplay, but feels very poorly designed.
- Weird balance issue where you can find yourself going from 2-3 GP's office to needing 8-10 within the span of 20 minute gametime if you cure a lot of people and raise your rating high too fast.

Hopefully someone will do the same with Dungeon Keeper, Populous and Syndicate in the near future.

A very strong game that boasts a lot of player choice with different outcome to most quests, a wide selection of customization for your party, and a lot of different and cool weapons to use.

Unfortunatley it's not perfect, the amount of particles makes large fights with many spellcasters very cluttered, but the foundation is there to kickstart this fantastic style of games back into action for a long time coming.

Get it if you like a challenge, enjoy epic fantasy adventures, and have gotten tired of the pathetic character design of recent BioWare games where the whole focus seems to be for the main character to find someone to stick his ♥♥♥♥ in.

Absolutely fantastic game that only makes me sad more of these games have not been made.

A must play for any old school RPG and/or point and click-adventure-fan.
