I have played the version that was released on itch.io and I'm pleased and eager to continue with the Steam version.

If the goal was to make a game with a deep and layered story that had much more beneath the surface if you were willing to piece it together and then combine that with challenging yet rewarding gameplay and the best elements of Dark Souls, Metroid, and Castlevania... then well... mission accomplished!

The game mechanics and combat are well designed and veteran players of Dark Souls will certainly appreciate and feel comfortable with those systems. I also want to complement the visual aspect of the game. You can tell a mountain of sweat and grit was poured into the animations and artwork. No two zones look the same and you can tell each enemy was hand drawn with care and a purpose in mind. It's quite impressive that all of it was done by one individual.

Congratulations to the developer for meeting the challenge of being the sole producer and developer of the game. I look forward to future titles and hopefully a sequel!

Finally, I have to say the game has an excellent score. There are several standout tracks that poignantly set the mood and you're bound to find tracks playing in your head long after you've closed the game. Excellent work by the music and sound designer.
