Very resounding yes! If you're into physics and space, that is.

While in Alpha, the game has quirks, but for the most part it's very playable and rewarding. The sense of accomplishment in getting your kerbals from one planet, all the way around the solar system to land on another planet is just amazing. It's like flicking a grain of sand accross the room and hitting the quarter you were aiming at.
The physics engine, while not perfect, can be quite enjoyable once you get the hang of it. There are quirks that can be used to meet your objectives, and even when gravity or some other effect foils your plans, it's still hilarious to watch the catastrophe ensue.
And finally, what might be the best part of the game: The community. The KSP community is one of the most patient and tolerant (as a whole) communities out there. The dev's are open about how they're making the game, and there's a large modding community putting out some amazing and well thought out mods to the game if you're looking for something other than stock parts and gameplay.
