Censorship is repugnant, yet paradox has allegedly decided to go down that path and remove the above phrase from the upcoming sequel to this game. CKII is an amazing game with thousands of hours of content allowing the player to take on the role of a minor noble anywhere from Iceland, to Mali, to Bengal, to Western China from 1066-1453 (769 and 867 with the dlcs "Charlemagne" and "The Old Gods" respectively).

However, despite my glowing opinion of the game, I'm forced to recommend against giving any further money to a company that supports censorship and gives into the demands of perpetually offended games journalists (Rock Paper Shotgun). Sadly, Paradox bans us from dissenting on their personal forums so our only outlet to express our distaste at their actions is to vote with our wallets and recommend potential future buyers do the same.
