Ok, i'll start by saying that it's not "that bad" but Lone Sails has nothing really going for it apart from its visual style and... and that's it.
Gameplay is pretty tedious, going back and forth to keep your vessel going is fun for about 30s and then becomes a chore you'll have to suffer through the (short) rest of the game.
The word "puzzle" would be a bit far fetched to describe what you're doing when not going forward, as you don't even have to use your brain. You walk a bit, push a button, go back to your ship. At some point there's gonna be a 2nd button, and by the end you may have to push 3. And i assure you I'm not joking.
The difference between Lone Sails and a game like Limbo/Inside or, heck, even Little Nightmares is the same as a the one between a playmobil car and a RC car.
The game might be appealing if it's your first atmospheric side-scroller, but even then wait for an efty discount as paying 15€ for this game is totally unjustified. Otherwise just play Limbo or Gris.
(sorry devs)
