Game is great! If you love EDF games then you will enjoy this one as well. If getting an Epic Games account is the end of your world then guess you will just have to pass on this one. People rating it negative are just upset about the Epic Games account being needed to play the game, but its a FREE account. People just need to chill and rate games as needed, such as Helldivers 2 getting review bombed because they messed up big time, but this?? This is nothing.

I stand my ground, the game play is what you would guess from and EDF game. The new stuff feels great to play with. No issues with online play at all, very easy to jump into a game with friends or randoms.

For a game that is all about getting a party and having a fun time questing and such, there is no multiplayer in the game at all!! Now dont get me wrong you can play the game with more people but they MUST be your friend on steam and that means it has no multiplayer options in the game, even the Find Online Lobby option in the menu only takes you to finding a lobby made by one of your friends. Now for me i only tried the game to see if i could remote play with my friends but its not an option even tho it has "Shared/Split Screen Co-op."

Sure they did not list Remote Play as an option but for a game like this i feel like it would have been a great fit and an easy way to get more people to want to pick it up. As it stands i can not recommend this game UNLESS EVERYONE who will be playing the game with you is IN PERSON because otherwise you gotta spend 80$+ just to play with a group of 4. If they put Online multiplayer lobbys then maybe it would work because then everyone could play with a larger group but until then i think staying away from this game is better.

Also no pointer or snap points for moving on the map really slows the game down.

Edit 2: Changing my recommend from No to Yes as they did change the big part about what i did not like. Them having put Remote Play Together into the game now makes me change my ratting of this game.
