If you actually spend a couple of hours setting the graphics settings properly using a guide and installing a few mods to give you hands and a body etc this is one of the best VR games in my opinion. All the negative reviews are from people who couldn't be bothered to do that it seems. Yeah it should have had those things out of the box but it didn't (slap on the wrist to Bethesda for that and a huge thank you to all the modders who sorted it out), so just crack on and do it yourself in literally a couple of hours. Got 192 hours as of writing this, not bad for 2 hours tinkering.

It's the entirety of Fallout 4 but instead of looking at it on a screen, you're actually in it. Nothing beats creeping around the Corvega plant literally crouched down on the floor in RL, sneaking up on raiders. Having to crane your neck to look up at all the massive skyscrapers in downtown Boston, getting actual vertigo in the vertibirds as you fly across the wasteland blowing everything up with the minigun. So many amazing moments that just feel way better in VR. Building settlements is also a joy and not difficult at all in VR, really cool to be able to just wander around them and see everything like you would in real life.

Simply put. I love it.

p.s. Playing on a 1070 and only get framerate issues when flying over downtown boston in the vertibird and just one small area in Far Harbour.

Fantastic VR game with a few janky bits but those didn't spoil the experience. I felt like Rick at times using those .45's. Nice how you can go back after the ending and try to survive as many days as you can.

Cool crafting system.

Some really hard life or death decisions to make, sometimes in a matter of seconds, that make you wonder if you did the right thing.

Absolutely brilliant. Been a HL fan since the beginning (22 years since I sat on the train home from college one day, holding a big pc game box with the Lambda symbol on the cover) and this did not disappoint. Great experiencing City 17 in VR, felt like I was actually there. Fantastic gun fights and some epic set pieces. Heart rate definitely increased for the last 20 mins there. Decent length too, nearly 14 hours to complete.

The bar has been raised again, figuratively and quite literally ;-)

The sound is brilliant, especially the music.

Never fancied killing animals for real but virtually i'm...game(see what I did there?)

Anyway, top stuff, played it loads on xbox game pass but wanted to own it on pc so bought it in the sale. Worth it even just for the stunning environments. Very relaxing.

I rate this game 10 out of black tail deer.

As a long time Battletech and Mechwarrior fan i've been in love with this game for a couple of years now(ignore the playtime, got 100's of hours in it before it came to steam). Its F2P so you got nothing to lose trying it out. Never spent a penny myself so far but do intend to for some paint jobs and maybe a hero mech or two and also to support the developers who i think deserve it for producing a game i've had so much fun with.

Excellent game!

P.S Dont give up if you keep getting destroyed all the time when you first start, Its a steep learning curve which makes it all the more sweet when you start getting better at it.

As a fan of the Mad Max movies since the first one this game is a dream come true. Its basically a Mad Max simulator and for me it gets pretty much everything right. I love it.
