Early Access Review
I was very excited for this game as it's trying to do something different in the space which is exciting. However, the current state is very very rough and I would not recommend. It needs more time to cook in the oven and even then I'm not overly optimistic about it's success but will happily change my review if it later turns to have improved substantially.

Pros
- Atmosphere and tone,
- Unique gameplay setting. This feels incredibly different to other extraction shooters and is a breath of fresh air
- Some good quality of life features around how they handle the stash, and inventory management.
- Very fair monetization

Cons
- Others have mentioned it, but the idea you can lose your entire stash because you stopped playing the game and your village dies of dehydration is legit crazy. While it may snare a few players to keep logging in, it will more than likely encourage players who leave to never return. I don't see how this game can succeed even if every other fix here gets made if this isn't addressed.
- Movement and Controls - Incredibly clunky. Character movement is slow and unresponsive. Vaulting over obstacles is fairly generous but still incredibly unpredictable and can lock your character into animation states for far long longer than intended.
- Gunplay is also bad and clunky. Hit confirmation is questionable on your shots, bullets seem to miss randomly, bullets often get caught on invisible terrain so enemies that are clearly down LoS at very close ranges become basically invulnerable.
- Bad AI - Enemies typically ignore the player until suddently they don't and just lock on to you. Enemy pathing is incredibly unpredictable. AIs tend to group randomly, stutter constantly and typically just aren't interesting to engage in.
- Bugs, bugs, bug, - so many painful bugs. I've had my gun disappear, I've lost the ability to use half my inputs
- Inventory management in match - clicking on the right object to loot is very painful. It often reopens the same one and there's no way to know what you're going to open when there's many items to loot.
- Too much junk loot - every npc drops 4+ items most of which are worthless clutter and your bag can be full almost instantly upon entering a match.
- Levels are too small - I haven't tried all the levels yet, but the ones I played are painfully small and fairly boring to replay. They also want you to finish incredibly fast in a game about sneaking and stealth.
- Level up and prestige system is just weird. I'd prefer a slower burn and just unlocking stuff rather than a 25x prestige per character class.
- Character classes are largely unappealing and don't feel sufficiently distinct from one another.

At the moment I'm keeping my copy out of optimism and a refreshing take on fair monetization. I sincerely hope they'll continue to improve the title, but I was seriously considered refunding the title. I would stay away until issues get resolved.

Very highly recommended. The art initially might be a turn off for some folks, but the style grows on you and the gameplay is excellent. It's an auto-battler at it's core but with a huge focus on adjacency bonuses. The combos are delightful and builds have a great mix of being extremely powerful, but lots of viable options.

It's cheap, accessible, and infinitely deep. Don't miss out on this little gem.

I've only played solo so I can't speak to the MP, but this is one of the most unique and freshest takes on the 4X genre I've seen. It may not be for everyone and it ultimately wasn't my cup of tea, but I have to recommend it, as it's incredibly well made and well worth checking out if you have any interest in the strategy genre. It could easily become one of your favorite games.

If you've ever tried sudokus and want something really innovative and different give this a shot. It offers a really unique and satisfying twist on the core genre and I'd love for the developer to create more. It's a shame this hasn't taken off more because I think a ton of people would love it, if they gave it a chance.

Overall really, really solid. Highly recommend.

Core game play isn't revolutionary but it's consistently solid. What sets this game apart is the world building and narrative. They do a great job of show not tell when it comes to characters and world building.

The characters are interesting, the monsters are really well designed, and the core story is engaging enough that I want to complete it even in a sea of deckbuilder roguelikes on steam. The level of focus and polish alone on this game warrants this game deserves a lot more attention than it's gotten. Thanks devs for all the hard and making something awesome.

Absolutely do not recommend. At best it's a watered down and buggy No Man's Sky, at worst it's everything wrong with Bethesda's previous titles dialed up to an 11. I did also look up some let's plays for later game content to be sure I wasn't missing much... but spoilers you're not. If you've played ~2-3 hours you know exactly what to expect for the rest of the infinite grind experience.

- Procedural generated planets are awful copy paste jobs, you see repeats almost immediately
- The NPCs and world building are incredibly uninteresting.
- The writing and storytelling is overall the worst in series.
- Enemy AI is bad, but pretty on par with previous titles.
- Gunplay is poor
- Picking up loot is annoying, weight limits are so low you can't scoop up junk to recycle... in a bethesda game.
- Skill Trees simultaneously don't offer abilities that feel good to upgrade -and- are very prohibitive in stopping you from doing basic actions like crafting and piloting a starship
- Ship combat is so-so.

Pluses
- Ship building is solid if / when you can grind to get it
- Trailers and marketing were solid enough to get me to try it

Recommendation -
100% avoid. Come back in 3-4 years when the modders have been able to salvage it. - Game is clearly unfinished and underpolished. They bit off more than they could chew and it should have been cut in scope easily 50% or more and would have been a noticeably better experience.

Really excellent Visual Novel. The mystery part of the story is so-so but the world building, the characters, setting, and the general tone / vibes are top notch. There are a lot of songs that are pretty compelling moments of major drama and intensity. It doesn't stray too far from the general visual novel formula but it's a beautiful well executed game. Highly recommended. If you like the genre at all you won't be disappointed.

High recommended buy, it's a shortish game but would recommend picking up at full price. It's a very well crafted experience and worth the money. This studio is one I'd love to see a lot more from.

Overall a high quality extraction shooter. A great entry point into the genre for new players to see if they'll like it or not.

Pros
- Much easier to get into than other Shooters
- Twitch drops are pretty high value when they happen
- Guns feel pretty decent across the board. Some like the Phasic are really awesome.
- Great game clarity, colorful world, aesthetically pleasing in a competitor pool or dark and dank
- A lot of the annoying, fiddly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from Tarkov is stripped away
- Fights are substantially more 'fair' than in other shooters. Better gear is huge in a straight fight. Rarely feels like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a loss or win.

Mixed
- PvE is okay, but not amazing. Neutral Monster AI just kinda auto-finds the player in more difficult zones.

Cons
- Fights are substantially more 'fair'. Being sneaky and tricky won't get you as far as in other games
- Some of the fun fiddly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is lost from Tarkov like stacking flashlights on a gun.
- End Game is pretty grindy / lackluster. You'll get a solid 50 hours out of it before hitting that point but you once you do it's tough to feel like you're making progress or what to do without incredible difficulty
- Slow creation of new content - They added a new monster in Season 3, which is great addition but overall that was basically it. Plays much too similarly between seasons.

Highly, highly recommended. Really great design through and through. If a horror based FPS seems even slightly in your wheelhouse this is a must play. I've completed chapter 1 and can say even without the other 2 chapters and still being in EA at the time of this review this is worth the price tag.

This game is beautiful visually, challenging, and goes 110% all in on it's theme and narrative. The sheer amount of gameplay and content here is well worth the money. Highly recommended.
