If you are a fan of the older games you will feel right at home. There are a few minor issues that I believe the devs have already acknowledged and will be ironing out. Wait and see if you are on the fence, buy if you are a die hard fan.

Difficult but fun to play with friends

If you are into survival games this one is worth looking into. It is currently early access and still unfinished but has plenty to do. It plays fine solo or coop. I haven't really run into many bugs other than people not being able to place things randomly. Well worth picking up, especially if it is on sale.

Better than Doom 2016, worth picking up on sale at least.

I love the concept of tearing apart ships in space and how they execute it for a video game. So far my only complaint is that it looks like coop isn't planned for it. But I still look forward to what all the developers plan on doing with the game. Pick it up if you're interested in this sort of thing at least while it's on sale, or in the future when it is even higher discounted.
