Max, if you are out there, you need to go back in time and tell me, to not buy this game. Its important.



I was extremely hesitant in buying BTS, I was affraid they wouldnt be able to deliver after an Amazing first game. Now that the 2nd Episode is out, my fear has become a reality.

The story is extremely forced right from the start. Where in the original game, you ease into the story, the characters and the drama. Before The Storm just forces it on you, and doesnt do it a in good way.
The main issue is that the first game had 100% freedom regarding the story, the characters, the drama and where it would end. With BTS being a presequel, most of that has already been set and they have to write to existing characters, world and to an ending,

Addiotionally the game feels a lot slower. I haven't felt as engaged as in the first one, even considering the limited amount of gameplay engagement there was in the first game. A lot of the dialog and story telling feel like "filler" content.

I will still finish playing it, I have to. However, I kinda wish I would have never started playing in the first place. And keep the memory of the Original game, which for now leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

This is a terrible sequel, it does not do the Original game ANY justice. The story is badly written, the drama is forced, the characters are bland, nothing makes sense. ♥♥♥♥ just happens out of the blue, there is no setup, very little to no introducting to Characters and situations. There is no gameplay whatsoever, dont get me wrong here, i wasnt expecting much, since the orignal game had little gameplay to it, however BTS is pretty much a movie, all you have to do is click left mouse button to play the next cutscene. The Original did a much better job at trying to be game you felt engaged with the characters and the story. With BTS i feel like random bystander, as in "Ok, THAT just happened" why? I dont know, did I have any options? No.

So yeah, stick to the original, this one is terrible!!!!

Planet Coaster is NOT a sim/tycoon game, all it is, is a Theme Park Painter/Designer. The simulation/managing mechanics are extreme shallow and annoying most of time. There is hardly ANY challenge in it whatsoever. If you are expecting quality scenario's like in the old Rollercoaster Tycoon games, you wont find that here.

However, if you just want to design Rollercoaster and Buildings and a complete park, its OK. But at that point its not a game any more and it becomes a piece of software. Similar to creating something in for example Photoshop.

I did not enjoy this game for many reasons.

Runs terrible, cant be modded

This game does not get better to longer you play it.

The repetition of finding guns and ammo gets old really quickly, spending 10 minutes looting to get shot in the face really is NOT fun and engaging gameplay.
You are either choosing to play stealthy and and try to make it to the end. Resulting in running around and hiding for 25 minutes with the occasional kill or getting killed. Really unrewarding either way.
It can feel rewarding when you win a round, but after playing many games you start to notice its big portion of luck, wether the white circle will close into a location in your favor.

The 2nd way of playing is just going in Rambo style, find the buy areas and try and get kills. Again not very fun, diving into a busy area not getting lucky with gun spawns, gettting shot because someone found an AKM or another asssault rifle, whilst you found a pan.

The game is pretty overpriced at 29.99 as well. Sure you can get some hours of it. But looking at a value proposistion. You get 1 (arguebly poorly designed) map, (more are on the way), a couple of guns, copy/paste, a terrible physics engine.
It quiet litterly feels like a MOD for games such ARMA.

Additionally its an Eearly Access title, so expect the following, Bugs, Poor perfomance, Poor networking Performance, etc.

A real gem! This is one of those titles, that you only see once every few years, truly something special.

Wow, just WOW. One of the best experiences in a game I have ever had.

Lets See, another big pile of wank

- No dedicated servers
- Maps are the size of a stamp
- Maps are really badly designed, lots of invisible and visible barriers, due to small maps.
- Jetpacks are just stupendous, They used to nerf Bunnyhopping, now they encourage it.
- Wall running.... really? You stick to the wall indefinitely.
- Neither jetpacks and wallruning add anything to the game, it isnt well implemented, it just result in dumb gameplay. Titanfall did this a whole lot better, That wasnt even a great game.
- Hit Registration is bad
- Its a shooter, not an RPG, stop giving us stuff to unlock.
- No dedicated servers
- Community is just ... oh boy, its used to be bad, but its has actually gotton worse.
- Balance, players who have unlocked most "stuff" have a massive advantage over players with less unlocks.
- No dedicated servers

Extremely well made, its fun, its challenging and it will kick you in the nuts from time to time, thats a good thing in this situation. Great soundtrack, replay value, what more can you possibly want?

Hands down, one the best indie's ever made.
