Boring until you reach the first city (which won't take long). Then you get yourself a few companions, lots of side quests (bye, bye main story for now), and find yourself wanting to go out into the world and explore and basically make your characters as imba as possible.

Long story short: Don't get bogged down by the slow beginning and get to the first city. Then things get kewl!
