I bought this product as i played GTA 5 online on my 360 for a year before it was released on PC. I really enjoyed online for quite a while. Big fan of coop and this game had it, with owning cars and the heist released, was awesome. But all their dlc for making anykind of money aftward while being free which is awesome. Is based to be in open lobbies so you can be trolled and lose what you spent hours working on. All to get people to buy shark cards, and while shark cards are good for supporting devs giving us Free DLC. they devs keep insisting the DLC be troll friendly and the smaller solo / small group gamer just have to deal with it. And with the issues with the mod community lately. And lack of pve coop content im gonna go with thumbs down for now.

About a thousand hours later. Givin that Rockstar has released DLC making the money grind a lot less painful, Although Current car releases are rather expensive by comparison to older cars / prices. The Cayo Parico heist being Solo'able AND IN SOLO LOBBIES, or with friends. And can make more money if you run setups for friends then chain run the heist. A lot of what I previously posted is now Irrelevant. GTA 5 online can be quite enjoyable in private lobbies. Im now a car collector, and myself and several of my friends enjoy jumping into a private lobby and cruise around the island in our choice car. We have a couple of tracks that we've made up ourselves running through the twisting narrow streets of vinewood hills. Dirt tracks circling the river connecting the west side of the island to the sandy shore lake, both on the north and south side of the river. Or another track winding through the military base then circling back on the dirt road surrounding it. Money can be easily obtained if you just put some time in, and in couple hours can have enough to buy that car you're lookin at. GTA online can be a great game either solo or with friends.

::PS:: Rockstar! PLZ for the love of all that has a engine, PLZ ADD WHEEL / Joystick peripheral support!!!!!!!

I played mafia 2 and really enjoyed it, My sister watched me play it and wouldnt let me stop as she wanted to see the rest of the story. And Vito and what happened with him and Joe was partially why i bought this game.

The 30 FPS lock, While i know is being fixed.. Come on. 2016 and yet again another dev sticks PC with another Console limitiation.

The Graphics are Wonky, at times its beautiful, and at times it looks like wet pastel chalk art. Lighting doesnt maintain as well as it did in Mafia 2. Like 2k pulled a Ubisoft and downgraded graphics from what was seen in preview trailers.

I got rid of Auto aim, Motion Blur and Depth of field * only have 1 eye and it goes buggy with depth of field if not done right* And the game seems to be a lot more tolerable.

Im driving using simulation physics, but am gonna try out the arcady style.

The Gun play is fun, feels like they borrowed some Max Payne 3 and AI react to locational damage and shots feel a bit mroe on the realistic side.

Overall even with the graphical issues and poor optimization i am having fun.. HOWEVER

The reason i am saying no , you shouldnt buy this game. Is there is a known issue. and that is tutorial screens * which you cant disable?* will sometimes not react to you pressing the button to exit the tutorial window. so you get stuck. . Which is where im at. i cannot get past trying to go after Merle, as the tutorial screen there ALWAYS Bugs out.

Seriously guys? I know i bought this game and so i get what i bought i accept that.
But freakin come on Dev's, These things should have been obviously dealt with pre launch. And stop makin PC the 1 that gets the worst of it. YOUR WRITING THE GAME ON A PC, Put down the controller and grab the mouse and keyboard and figure it out. Would like to see you write a game on a console with no Mouse and keyboad emulator.

------ BE CAREFUL ABOUT FEEDING THIS GAMES DEV'S MONEY, ITS A PAY TO WIN / PAY TO PROGRESS GAME, BECAUSE TAKING TIME TO UNLOCK THINGS TAKES DAYS OF PLAY TIME, THE GAME WOULD BE SO DATED BY THE TIME YOU UNLOCKED EVERYTHING ,SOMETHING BETTER WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY ------- PS. For a game where dev's are ripping you off with gold price, not seeing much of actual game update progression, Animations are stiff, vehicles drive like they're on snow, and its not a heavily graphical game, LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THEIR SCREENSHOTS. as far as high end graphics. And as someone posted on their 5 million registered member mark where players were awarded 200 gold!!! yeah, thats like a 1/3 of a mod. feels more like a insult that a gift. This is a HUGE revolving door game, lots of people registered, lots of people quitting cause of how much of a time sink it is for players with no $$$. In the end, lets hope these dev's either listen to their customer and smooth it out, like the ability to sell a weapon / character back. Or go out of business so players can actually put their money towards something worth their time.

PROS:
-Matchmaking times have been improved significantly when entering a battle with your squad of friends

-Not really pay to win (you are essentially buying double exp for paying)

-The game rewards patience and careful aiming along with tactical positioning

-It pays to spray in close quarters

-Each team has their "go to" overpowered weapon

-player models and camo do blend in with surroundings so unless you stop and look or have a quick eye, you can step on someone and not know.

-Weapon modding was more in depth than I actually thought it was (being able to mod weapons to guarantee 1 hit kills)

CONS:
-cant change controls untill fully in game

-graphical adjustments are absolute minimal

-Its really hard for new players to get into due to veteran players clearly having the superior gear

-The occasional hacker

-Weapon / vehicle and Ammo upkeep will more often than not, use all the money you make in a match, and then some

- Its now even harder to not spend money on this game due to having to now buy bullets for every one of your weapons (spent so much in game money on rockets for my bazooka that i cant buy anything else but ammo)
- The game sometimes doesn't put you in the same squad as your friends when the battle starts even when you pre squaded up in the menu
- The game is terribly unbalanced when it comes to team resources (matches will vary from fighting onslaughts of tanks with only rifles to fighting onslaughts of paratroopers)
- There is no way to give anti air guns more ammo when it is fully empty (it really sucks having nothing to take out those bombers and paraplanes)
-Thompsons reign supreme
-As of this review Germany has been winning most of the wars (I haven't really seen what the Russians can do yet)
-Melee weapons are a joke, it feels like some random dungeons and dragons RNG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ takes place every time you take a swing

OVERALL: I have been having decent time with this game and I enjoyed a bit of it but with the game's current state that its in i still can't recommend it to others. BUT this game definitely has its fair shares of frustrating moments and it definitely help to carry a bazooka around everywhere you go.

Ok i have about 150 hours invest, and yes have spent some money on gold to unlock a few things. And as i said before the game CAN be fun. But as a veteran ww2 FPS gamer, and gamer in general. I have a lot of gripes and hope that others will be wary when it comes to playing this game. Its been a long while since a ncie decent ww2 multiplayer game has been out, and this one is and can be fun, But there can also be some of the biggest and frustrating moments in a game, Spawn camping lamers love this game and are rewarded for it!!! how is that even possible!, Teammates who dont have a clue what they're doing. A piss poor fight vs AI training, id rather a empty map with a plane / tank / weapon range so i can go practice controls. you cant change your controls for things like moving around till you are actually in game in game, not at the char screen, but in game waisting time messin with controls while your teammates try and take objectives. THe fact that the game takes 2 clients to run, 1 you log in with and another when you join a battle. Grouping with friends can be difficult if you wish to do different things, 1 tanker , 1 inf etc etc etc.

They recently claimed that there are 5 million registered, yet at low times match's hardly ever fill with people, usualy its about a 5 on 5. The game has been in beta for a LONG while, 2 years? That being said it is still buggy * which can be funny* But annoying most of the time. but i'll start a list of my perks and peeves.

I enjoy a good ww2 type shooter , where skill with single shot rifles has a place, and like i said its been a while since a game company has tried at 1, since BF dev's wont listen to a part of its fan base and go for a older ww1-vietnam game vs present / future.

But there are a lot of things about this game that REALLy frustrate me, i understand not everyone wants a realism ww2 shooter, But what they've done here is try to make the player to WANT to buy gold to have the guns that behave no way near how the game plays, Hip fire LMG's with accuracy, thats right, you can ads sights while walking around with a MG42 with reasonable accuracy which i dont like, if your prone and had the ability to deploy like a bipod * maybe set as a LMG crew* and a buddy can carry it and place it for you like in the movies?

All upgrades and ammo have upkeep cost, which makes it so VERY easy to outspend what you make in a match, even 1 that youve done well in.

their progression system starts you out with a semi auto rifle, with quick unlock of a nooby smg, the faction high end smgs of course can be unlocked with gold, or days upon literal days of grinding skirmish's, I have the thompson, best SMG for americans, 150 hours played unlocked it with gold otherwise id have a thompson and nothing else. I understand to a extent the way they have set the guns with some time to unlock, but its beyond what it should be, and they do this to make you want to buy gold to buy the gun,

AND WARNING, IF YOU BUY GOLD, WEAPONS AND VEHICLES ARE PER SOLDIER ONLY, its not account wide like Planetside or Battlefield, its per character, so your gonna want a character for flying, a character for tanks, a character for running and shooting etc.

They punish rifles with heavy recoil, but give smg's beyond decent accuracy hip firing, and you can tote a LMG and be accurate enough to put out enough lead that anyone you see within 30 yards is dead.

I guess in the end , the game is and can be fun, But i feel the dev's make this just 1 big money pit hope to suck on the wallets of gamers just lookin for a good ww2 shooter. starting guns are ok i guess, high end guns are OP, which you either have to grind for or spend your $$ on, Also the Dollar to gold exchange isnt very good, 25 dollars* after tax* gets you enough gold to buy 1 gun , maybe 2, or 1 with a few mods. Dev's also do the typical copy / paste response on banning people for hacking, and oh yes there are hackers. And i just hope people seriously have a second thought before giving these money suckers any more money. And honestly i do regret giving them mine, with the 20 bucks i threw at this i could have bought original call of duty, and hoped to find a server up and had as much fun and got my moneys worth.

For a game thats STILL in beta, And obviously by its player base making money to a extent. Contents not very polished, And this game has some SERIOUS flaws in its execution. You would probably get better enjoyment out of your 20 bucks on a different game on sale on steam, than what you could buy in this flaky game.

The Game is enjoyable, and definatly has that classic Tactical feel. BUT is a obviously a console port, and IMHO not as good as conviction, not as much stuff to climb and tactically move around on, some textures just seem like brushed up console textures instead of top of the line pc graphic textures. Seems like its been dumbed down to fit a larger crowd which is dissapointing.
