Even with the performance issues, which do exits, the game is amazing. I've got about 20 hours of playtime, and about 10 fast travel "tokens" without buying anything. I got one for free with the deluxe version. I have no inclination to pay for micro-transactions. That said if you are impatient this is not really the game for you. I enjoy going out and adventuring. Even passing the same areas you find new things constantly, and the battle system is amazing. If you ever get a little bored just change vocations and it really changes up your play style. The performance issues are pretty bad, so maybe go play the first game until they patch it. Maybe save a few bucks too on sale. The first game was a clunky and terrible mess on performance too when it first came out. To me it's not enough to sway me from playing. Game is already GOTY for me.

Only 11 hours and I already love it. Like Divinity on steroids. If you loved that game you'll love this one.

Good albeit currently somewhat shallow game. The things it does well it does overwhelmingly well. The other stuff can feel like a grind. It's the only game I've ever played where I actually feel like I'm in space, with everything that entails.

One of the best games out there, what more can be said that hasn't already. Buy it and enjoy it.
