Played games since 1986. Played PC games since the DOS days, first language learned was basic (also the last), played the original Gameboy, played NES, MasterSystem2, Genisis, SNES, N64, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Wii, Xbox360. Tried most other consoles, including C64's, Atari's, ColecoVision, even those weird computers that ran off cassette tapes. But always been a PC lover at heart.

Played an insane number of shareware games back when there were people somehow making money off it (i just paid for the disks). Played most 3DRealms games, ID Software games, Blizzard games, a heap of EA games, and just about anything that was easily available during those glorious early days of the internet. Then became slightly more interested in girls and alcohol for a while, then finished school having only played a tiny bit of Quake and even less Halflife.

Then a few years into popping in and out of university my friends took me to an internet cafe and the world changed. Played CS since 1.3, tho it quickly became 1.4 before i learnt to bunnyhop. Spent my first 2 years playing on LAN at the best internet cafe ever, WebWarfare, home to starcraft champion Nick 'Starhunter' Hogan, and proving ground of Miles "Rize" O'Connor. Entered the local competetive scene with some friends, but never won a tournament. Did manage to make a few national tournaments, making a personal best of 17-4 against NSW's 2nd best team at the Pantheone Nationals (at least i think that was the comp). Always played for fun, but now don't have to win to have it.

I still mainly just play CS, but like my own variety of reality based games, like UnReal World, KerbalSpaceProgram, Empyrion, 7Days2Die. If you know any awesome reality-based sandbox survival rpgs, let me know. I'm hoping someone makes a great Minecraft mod but have had my fingers crossed for a while now. Although I have played the BetterThanWolves mod extensively and it's awesome.
