Early Access Review
Keep in mind I bought this game purely for the Battle Royale mod and the game is still in early stages of alpha. With that said, I've had a blast with this game so far. There are a lot of problems with the game, but they've been fairly successful with frequent updates.

A typical game of Battle Royale starts with anywhere from 60 to 200 players parachuting onto an enormous map and quickly scavenging weapons and gear. Most players flock to the residential areas because houses and apartment buildings have lots of guns, ammo, health packs, and vehicles. Five minutes into the round and once you survive the initial onslaught, poisonous gas will start to creep in from the outer borders of the map until it reaches a circular silhouette on the map. The gas will continue to move in until there is only a tiny piece of the map remaining. This forces all players to continue moving, engage in combat with each other, and shoos campers from their hiding spots.

Despite the fact that there can only be one winner, every BR will have numerous group of people teaming together just to get to the end. It's not much fun losing to an unfair fight, but it feels great to actually kill a team!

There are airdrops that contain supplies and they're the only way to get the sniper rifle. These airdrops come from huge cargo planes that slowly parachute the supplies to the ground. These airdrops can be seen and heard from far away, which attract the attention of many players. There is a good chance there will be some action around each airdrop, so beware! Planes will also come in and drop lots of bombs around the airdrops just to add to the chaos.

The size of the map is mindblowing. Imagine a 10x10 grid where it takes someone more than 2 minutes of sprinting to cross just 1 square. Once the gas comes in, you will have to spend a lot of time running to the safe zone unless you were lucky enough to pick up a vehicle.

You might also run into a fair share of hackers, mostly people running programs called "ESP" which supposedly tells people where others are located or they might be using some aim hacking programs. To be completely honest I very rarely run into people that I think are blatantly cheating...however, you will run into a million people who think everyone else is hacking.

Lots of issues, but even more fun. The pregame to every BR is a cesspool of the internets biggest idiots and trolls screaming the most random stuff on their mics. It's absolutely horrendous and I love every minute of it. The developers have said that the BR mode will not be free sometime in the future, but hopefully that won't be until the game is stable and updated some more...
