Absolutely fantastic. Constant upgrades to cybernetics, guns, and many vehicles to combat with. A grappling hook, parkour...it's amazing.

This is a Doom/Doom II love project. The feeling is there. The story is great and told in a way I have never seen. AN AI GONE ROGUE...set off Earth and with some amazing, and menacing monsters! Boomer shooter pros will enjoy this on Normal, or harder difficulties.

EDIT: Just started Episode 2. 4 levels in. Absolutely awesome! Seemingly LARGER maps than the first! The puzzles are great, the enemies are absolutely intense. The most fun map so far has you out in space and conserving your oxygen. The secrets and pickups are absolutely a blast to look for. It is tough on harder difficulties. You WILL DIE plenty of times even on normal difficulty. The added monsters and story are top notch.

THE SHOTGUNS: The original from episode 1 is great and worthy of an award. Shooting both barrels blows you backward but deals tremendous damage. The new shotgun in this episode is a companion to the one from episode one. I don't want to spoil too much, but the thing is absolutely one of the most fun shotguns I've ever experienced in this retro genre. The alt-fire will leave you speechless!

The soundtrack is one of the best. This game is my favorite throwback shooter since Cultic and Prodeus. This and Diluvian Ultra!

4.75/5.0. It would be perfect if there was a jumping mechanism. But I understand why it isn't there. it is a tribute to Doom. What the lack of a jump button does do is make the secrets and hard to reach objects much more fun to scrounge for.

Ridiculously wonderful Build Engine "Blood" clone. More praise for making a real story. Even more praise for making weapons upgrade able. The secrets are fun, the "boomer shooter" genre is filled with good games. This one stands out, fun secrets, allows you to be ultra quick or play at a slow pace.
One thing: why isn't the barrel of the lever action rifle longer? Otherwise the guns are absolutely EXCELLENT. It is truly satisfying to kill enemies - especially with headshots. The maps are probably the best part of this game. They are giant, but don't require any backtracking. The difficulty is nice and the game rewards you heartily for killing your enemies fast: either with headshots or a surprise explosive. All of the explosive weapons are fantastic. Music is good. Sound is great.

I sort of went into this one with a "Dusk" attitude. The attitude of "oh there will be some huge guns and huge monster closets, I should crank up the difficulty." XD

I ended up lowering that difficulty to NORMAL after the first 5 minutes! This game is reminiscent of Wrath: Aeon Of Ruins as in, if you die... you start over. However, in Wrath there are save tokens.

"Incision" is what Quake would be like if the enemies hit harder, and there was NO save feature. The only thing that helps you from restarting levels over and over: 1UPs. There are enough of these, and just enough ammo (make sure scour the levels for secrets) to avoid getting to the end of a level only to have to redo it...mostly. Some of these monster closets and gauntlets come out of nowhere. But the game is never "unfair." Incision's level design and some traps will smack you in the head at first, but you will soon learn to expect anything and strategize accordingly.

The environment, music, and sound effects are terrifying, and foreboding. The graphics are about on the level of Dusk, but have even a more industrial feel to them. The weapons are amazing and pleasingly powerful. The noise from the shotgun will bring a smile to your face.

Grade:A+
-A must for anyone who loves challenging 90s FPS shooters!

PLOT: A must play for all Terminator I and II fans. This should have been Terminator 3. The future war movie we ALWAYS wanted (And were sort of given with Bale) is finally here. You play as a man named Rivers. Saved by a stranger who guides you along your path back into the resistance against the machines. You soon find that you are on a short list of people to be terminated...at the top of Skynet's list. The only question is can you make the correct choices in order to ensure everyone's safety that you meet along the way. 4/5.

GAMEPLAY: Far Cry FPS style in a future war against the machines. Craft items and upgrade your weapons as you go along with chips from fallen Terminators. Upgrade from bullets to plasma. An array of weapons from sniper rifles to chain-guns. Choices you make along the way WILL affect the ending, but not drastically. The ability to attack missions from a multitude of ways is always present. Sneak around and hack the machines to fight amongst themselves, or tear them down with amazing combat. 5/5.

FINAL SCORE: 9/10
