Even back in Early Access (with less than HALF the content it has now) this game was great!
And I despise most Early Access games...so... ^^

Cool mix of light RPG-Elements and real time combat.

Can't recommend - it's more frustrating than anything.

Villagers are really, REALLY stupid. They:
- don't care about building priorities most of the time
- randomly attack enemy graveyards spawning hordes of enemies that overrun you if you are not prepared
- ignore building resources next to a construction site - and will rather carry them over half the map to the village center for storage

Furthermore you don't get notified if anything bad happens. I had many buildings destroyed by a single trash slime or skeleton without noticing - and the villagers did not care.

Still - it looks like the developer worked hard on this. If it gets tweaked a bit here and there it could be a great game!

Was looking forward to the campaign after I had fun in survival mode - and now I am really disappointed as well as massively BORED by the missions. Oh god those boring, looooong missions - especially the "hero" ones. Absolute time waste.

Look for the review of a Steam user named Kurtino - he/she points out everything that is wrong with the game.

I don't see how this can be easily fixed by the devs. If you MUST play this, then definitely watch a stream, a movie, etc. while playing. So your time won't be wasted completely.

I just saw the end credits and I deeply regret dumping all those hours in this mediocre game, hoping it would get better.
The story an voice actors are great! Gameplay is soooo booooring and slow -.-

Still one of the best games on Steam!

AMAZING!
I rushed through this game in a couple of sessions - the first one went 3-4 hours, because I couldn't put it down.
Very tensed, thrilling and emotional athmosphere with calm part in between.
A rollercoaster ride! ;)

Very intense and very hard to describe.
Can't be meassured by length and money spent.
It's an experience that will be different for every single person.

And I'm still not sure what the experience was for me...
But still... thumbs up.
I was moved. I felt awkward. I had... fun?
Hard to say.

Enjoyed the story and the characters!
Look at it as a VERY simple version of Dagon Age and other games.
Very limited freedom and limited dialogue options to choose from. Very simple combat, but still overall fun!

I played "Styx" before this and it almost doesn't tie into its sequel, but well... it still fits together. ;)

Nice idea, but so far not good at all. I hope this gets better until release and much much MUCH less BORING.

-Controls are horribly over complicated/unprecise
- You have to play scenarios in order to unlock sandbox content - and the scenarios take AGES to complete and apparently have NO SAVEGAME ?! Also the first ones are really boring and this keeps me from playing and so from unlocking content -.-
- hard to catch thieves because of controls and horrible fighting mechanics

I don't see why this has to be in first person 3D - this is clearly a 2D concept and has no advantage by being 3D - it's just much harder and annoying to control.
