This game recieved so much hate. Though it's really fun. I spent a lot of time playing it, playing it through now for the 4th time, still having great fun. I highly recommend using mods, such as Combat Evolved or Realistic Rebalance (just google it). Although it's not really turn based, the real-time/pause function, once you really got into the idea of it, feels great and rewarding.

Get it, give it some time to fully understand the game mechanics and enjoy a really great game for a cheap price! :)
