While I agree Go! Go! Nippon! has practically no story at all, I do agree with you on katawa shoujo. An absolute masterpiece, though due to the subject matter its hard to convince others how good it is. Even so, Its still my favorite VN (Even though I have ranked one higher than it in reviews).

This is a bad place to put it, but I like Go Go Nippon in a truly sarcastic way. It has nailed its targeted audience so so well but as a person who doesn't buy into the thin premise of a story in GGN, I have just grudging admiration for the game. Katawa Shoujo on the other hand, is truly a beautiful VN that is amazing considering how it came about.
