I got hooked on the mobile version of Bloons TD6 before it came to Steam. It has a surprising amount of depth for a cartoonish tower defense game about popping balloons; there's a nice variety of towers with many upgrades, several hero towers, and many difficulty settings and maps.

What keeps me playing just about every day is that new content is added regularly, new challenges are given everyday, and challenges can be created and shared with others. A co-op mode is going to be added very soon for the game's one-year anniversary.

BTD6 is shaping up to be a nice port of the mobile game. In a previous review I criticised the lack of customisable keyboard shortcuts and documentation but this has since been rectified. Once you become used to the keyboard shortcuts, the game becomes quite easy to control.

The graphics options are still basically non-existent, but that probably won't matter since the game runs super smooth; in pre-freeplay rounds I consistently get 144 Hz even on my mediocre computer.

If you already have BTD6 on a mobile/emulator but it doesn't run great (like on my brick) then I'd still grab it on Steam, since you can backup your progress to your Ninja Kiwi profile.

If you enjoy tower defense, and have enjoyed any of the previous games (even the old Flash ones), grab it!

Very fun, cute, well polished adventure platformer with a fabulous soundtrack. Features throwbacks to classic 3D platformers like Super Mario Sunshine and Banjo Kazooie, but certainly stands on its own. Some parts of the game are rather challenging but it is never too frustrating.

Highly recommmended, especially if you like cute.

A game about automation and teching up to increase the amount of automation you can automate. Very moddable with a great deal of replay value. Also has trains. Highly recommended to anyone who's enjoyed Tekkit/Feed the Beast.

An excellent, fast-paced first-person platformer with a kickass soundtrack. If you enjoy bunny hopping and unique jumping mechanics then definitely grab it.

A game with a nice style and soundtrack, but currently crippled by a poorly implemented building system and several bugs that have been around for many versions. I don't recommend it in its current state, but it has promise.
