The "vertical difficulty spike" is an absolute lie. The game is easy enough with a ton of method you can exploit, tiphxodia, myongest Yesod just to name a few. All in all if you can read this review, you can manage to beat the game. Most people just don't want to read.

not as good as everyone said it would be, but still a good one

Don't know why a lot pf people said the game runs poorly, my 5 years old non gaming laptop says otherwise

Just, one more escape run...

simply the worst Bioshock in the series, just because there's a (kind of) sane girl in the game doesn't mean the game is better than the (no fan service) rest of the game.
still a (kind of) good game 5.5/10

but i recommend play this game last if you want to see how bad this game is compared to the others
if you play this game first you will blinded with Anna DeWitt to the point that you will blind on how great the other game is
Bioshock Infinite is my first bioshock game btw

great indie games like this always reminds me why i hate (p2w) mobile games so much

but still, even for a great game like this there's still something flaws
- as someone that get lost very easily to the point it's almost comical, the lack of direction and bad in game map makes first few hours an absulolute nightmare (after 17 hours it still is for me)
- little explanation about in depth mechanics,
+ which player will learn by themselves, it's exploration game afterall
- once you figure everything out the farming part will become a chore that will take alot of time, which will prevent you from exploring
+ drone will help alot, you can skip everyday and still get rich if your layout is good enough


above all if you're into seeing jiggle wobbly blop of slime bouncing around exploding radiation for a long time this game is for you, heck this game is for everyone really

even with the least content from the previous title (notably MHXX) MHW still delivers better experience than the previous tile
honestly tho, while playing MHW sometimes i miss playing MHXX on my 3ds because of how much content, monsters, and challenge it delivers
that being said, MHW still a very good game and a very good introduction to the series.

3rd gen, MH3U : 51 large monsters
4th gen, MH4U : 75 large monsters
4th gen, MHXX : 93 large monsters
5th gen, MHW (no G-Rank) : 34 large monsters
i mean Capcom can add some rare species, subspecies, or even deviants to MHW since they use the same skeleton, but one can only hope

some people said that Bioshock 2 is the worst Bioshock games.
But at least Bioshock 2 still feel like a Bioshock games, unlike Bioshock Infinite.
All of them is very good though.
The story is bland compared to the other Bioshock games.
For the combat, Bioshock 2 is the best out of all Bioshock games.
