Goedemorgen!

More Regiments, including procedurally generated Operations, heliborne platoons, multiple new M113s nations, and Regipedia unit quotes.

Must-have if you like the base game (or wait for a sale if you're lukewarm towards it).

Last patch is pretty based, switching review back to positive and buying the warbond.

Superb stuff, 8/10.

Single-player-only(!) hybrid of World in Conflict and Wargame series (well, just for the sake of comparison, Regiments is actually it's own thing). Looks great, runs great, has hotkeys to disable HUD and mouse cursor for your screenshotting pleasure.

Operations (aka a short campaign set in the 1989 WW3) are fun. Persistent units between phases/stages and resource management and flexibility in terms of task forces and support cards to bring, plus the same difficulty options make them replayable (just invest in 6/10 tactical support and spam artyto win, hehe).

Skirmish games allow you to play every map in three different gamemodes, tweakable difficulty settings and multiple NATO/regiments.

Some moments (to name a few, helicopter flight model, infantry operations) are abstracted away, but this keeps the game highly accessible; combine with active pause and it becomes non-micro-heavy at all. At the same time you get tons of difficulty options to torture yourself and figure out the Ultimate Meta (tm).
AI is fairly competent, though in some areas I feel like it's not quite there yet (e.g. fighting retreat in Attack mode would be nice).

The most impressive thing IMO is the fact that there's just a single indie developer behind this game, working with help from MicroProse in the art department (and probably in others too, I am not sure, watch the credits when you beat the campaign). The release was working flawlessly for me, some bugs and balance issues are being fixed.
They're working on adding more content.

What's lacking: the internal Regipedia doesn't have all the numbers and in-depth descriptions of mechanics. And a unit comparison tool (like in Wargame) would be welcome.
Adding mod support can keep this game alive for a long while.

!!! As of this moment, multiplayer is practically unplayable due to near-constant DDoS attacks !!!

Single-player campaign's great, though. If you're into that -- totally worth buying when on sale.

Early Access Review
A promising game with lovely graphics, on-time updates and neat ships designed by YOU. Sadly, last game made by team's manager was a bust, but this one is progressing fine as of this moment.

Fancy damage model! Nice textures and effects! Mineable and destructable asteroids! Holy hell, you can even make scenes from Battlestar Galactica (flak storm and launch tubes included)!1

Has great potential for something like WireMod or simple programming language... And this most likely will be added. Also, may very well become your Industrial-Craft-In-Space. Again, if it will be completed.

Laggy multiplayer. Like EVE in 2008. But threshold is 5 battleships instead of 500. Wouldn't mind some optimisation, so we could have a proper carrier-v-carrier engagements. Also, this isn't SPACE SURVIVAL GAME! Don't buy it right now if you want to construct hydroponic farms and water recyclers, solve heating problems and plug holes to prevent air leaks. Survival Mode is just "creative with limited resources".

Yes, stupid leveling system, new OP planes in every patch and lame balance (i.e. 109K vs. MiG-15bis) can beat awesome concept and next-gen graphics.
