Truly what a rhythm beat'em'up should be. Everything from the music, to the scenery, to the characters oozes charisma, passion, and charm, juxtaposed to the fact that they dropped this game out of nowhere with no advertising and it still beat out some of the triple A titles released around the same time. If you like rhythm games, this is a must for sure.

CS:GO Review
It used to be fun, but these days its so filled with cheaters via wallhacks or aimbots that its unreal and unplayable. Not even worth a free price point since "free" competitive is filled with spin bots and "paid" competitive is filled with walling cheaters who think they are slick.

So this game was fun at first, an unique little concept.
-Content
Run from zombies and make a train go to the exit to escape. So far so good.
Zombies get unique powers to help them fight the humans and humans get guns and gun jumping. Still okay.
Zombies get to grab survivors and throw them a considerable distance without any cool down. Umm, kinda bs but okay?
-Then we move onto the updates.
They removed a zombie class because it was considered overpowered with its suicide explosion. Cool! Balance is nice.
They re-added the same zombie with a new power that makes it look like the survivors. Once again, thats kinda BS, but okay?
They then buffed the suicide zombie to give it a larger blast radius. WTF devs? What are you thinking?
Then they had an update that made every single zombie the Mimic Suicide bombers. Seriously what is going on over there? Is everyone consuming lead paint or something?
They broke the shotgun hip fire in the same update. Why?
Then they finally added an update to give some incentive to play more and try to be good at the game. But the ranking system is so A$$ Backwards that upon ranking the top of my round, i went back 50 places on the score board, while my buddy who barely manage to scrape by with a single kill and survive jumped up 100 places.

All in all, this game had a lot of promise and looked to be a fun experience, but the crazy updates that ruin the balance and fun, tied with the horrible lag issues where some zombies/humans never die no matter how many times you hit them or the issue with the mimics being far to powerful in some cases, just ruins the experience for me. Until this gets resolved i dont plan on playing this much.
Side note. Devs Seriously re-think your ideas of balancing. Giving the "OP" Zombie extra powers and a larger blast radius, isnt nerfing them. It's the opposite, its literally buffing them. Ruining certain weapons and some weapons not having knockback due to lag, is infuriating and you need to work on the network aspect of your game before trying to "Nerf" some zombies or "Balance" the game as a whole. Because trying to balance a broken game is like trying to balance a broken see-saw with a fat kid on one end and the other side is just missing. It doesn't work.

I honestly want to like this game. I really do. I used to love the original Quake and its clones back in the days when everything looked like it was made out of melted legos. But this game is so focused on the Graphics and trying to look good, that it forgot what it was trying to be. The menus take forever to load for some reason (mainly the really simple ones EX: the color pallete selection menu), character models dont load in in the menus and loading screnes until seconds before the match, and after the match when everything should already be loaded and you would expect the game to run at top speed, everything takes forever to load. The servers are laggy due to the "Spectecal Fights" being over done and it seperates all the original quake goodness into a myraid of characters with unneeded special abilities and different health pools. Hell Bunny Hopping, (an integeral part of this genre) has been kneecapped, taken out back and then beaten, before being given to two seperate characters, and even then its a shadow of its former self. This game isn't even a proper quake game anymore. Its just an arena shooter with the name tacked on as an after thought with needless ingame purchases and a myraid of unnecessary fluff to try and get people to spend money. If you really want a good old-fashioned Quake style game, this is not for you. Instead go try Dusk.

The game is lack luster in both over all polish and gameplay. Most games in this style don't force the player to huddle in a small base on their first night or do endless grinds to gather basic materials in areas that should be well within their level but are for some reason technically well above them. For example while looking for iron to get roughly enough to make the armor and weapons i encountered a monster that was level 16. which by all means should have been higher than anything i was supposed to face given the fact that i had walked only a short distance from spawn. which leads to the fact that i killed it and didnt take any damage due to both its horrible ai and the terrible combat and now i have no idea whether it was higher level than me or lower cause the ui doesnt seem to display a level for my character and shouldnt because the level should be based on armor not xp. It has a lot of great ideas that are either poorly executed or done better in other games (ex: starbound with other worlds and monster capture and terraria in full world generation and progression.) At the moment the game doesnt feel like a game, it feels like a chore. I don't want to pay money to do chores i want to pay money for hookers, blow, and having fun. (depending on how im feeling)

Picked up a new gun and my frames went from 30 to 8. Woo for day one issues for a game that can supposedly run off of a graphics card from 6 years ago

Hands down one of the best games i have ever played. Cried three times and I beat the game twice. Well worth every moment and penny. This game is well deserving of an award.

Quite a fun little rythm game that caught my attention and took up a bit of my time for a day. I would recommend this for anyone who likes rythm games like pattapon or pararapa the rappa. Sadly though it is extremely short and hopefully the will add more to it as time goes on.

The idea is good and all but the graphics just dont cut it for me. Combining 2D and 3D is a very fine process and doesn't work very often, especially in this case. It feels to force to work and the extra depth provided by the "3D" enviroment makes the game seem less and less like a decent metroidvainian and more like a half baked pie. A bad pie at that. The crust looks good but everything on the inside is poorly choosen and doesn't go well together. Maybe if they had left the entire game in 2D instead of the half and half. To add to the fact of terrible graphic choices, the extra "fog" layer that covers ground you haven't mined yet is really sloppy and seems to take ques from Worms Open Warfare, and other Worms titles, revealing small circles each time damage is dealt to the terrain. Maybe if they simply blacked out the "unknown" sections and had a similar function as Terraria and Starbound, it might work out better, but they didn't. All in all the game looked promising but as I took a "bite" into it, it turned out to be poorly put together with terrible choices in the design. Maybe some people will like it, but I don't, at least not in it current state. So if you want a good game to run around in and explore, especially with a ton of weapons and tools, go play Starbound, Terraria, Minecraft, or maybe just go play a different genre.

A very interesting take on tower defense and resource management. Taking the time to plan out where the monsters come from and what to build is fun and challenging. At it's current state is does have the usual bugs and the inability to "sell back" "towers" and modules, but all in all a refreshing new game. Monsters, Doors, Merchants, and Heros await and each one is unique and well made. I can't wait to see the finished product and hope that they even include biographies on the monsters as well as the heros.
