Let's talk about Steam profiles. Specifically, about how some of you people have made them weird. I truly can't fathom why any of you do this, but some who don't do it may be looking, so I'll clarify: there are some of you among us now who have clearly spent a significant amount of time and effort working on your profile, and, in extreme cases, pornografying them. The sheer quantity of other alleged "humans" dwelling here with you and I today that think creating a Steam profile that is all animated hentai, or worse, impliedly underage animated hentai, is some sort of hobby, and a great first impression. I don't get it at all. Even worse still though are those of you who plaster your digital handshake (because, yes, your Steam profile is a small introduction to you for, at the very least, other real-life friends you add) with hentai and then proceed to write bios that are fifteen tomes worth of condescending claptrap about who you will and will not speak to, topics that are and are not safe to discuss with you, and specifications regarding your gender identity that use about half a million words to say "please be kind to me and refer to me as 'she' or 'they' if we ever talk to a mutual friend" in the most pretentious possible way.

There. Now we're well below the "see more" line.

Spam accounts and bot accounts keep adding me as a friend, complimenting my profile in some way, and then sitting inactive for a couple of weeks before trying to phish me, and I'm tired of playing the guessing game every time someone I don't know adds me. If you're adding me and I didn't send you my friendcode, please include the word "spacenips" when you speak to me to verify that you're a human being. Thanks for your understanding. And please de-hentai your profile, it's classless.
